49 8 Weight Loadings How to calculate recommended weight loadings: 1. The overall weight loading of a bay depends upon the upright height, size and depth of the overshelves. 2. An overshelf must never exceed the depth of the base shelf and must always be arranged with the shelf depth increasing from the top to the bottom. 3. Take the average size of the overshelves, and use this as the guide for the maximum weight loadings on Table 1. This gives the maximum weight loading for a single-sided wall bay or gondola, excluding the base shelf loading. 4. Take each individual shelf size on Table 2 to give you the maximum weight loadings per individual shelf size for that bay. 51 8 Colour Information Standard Colours Our catalogue prices are based upon the following four standard colours: Pure white Jura white Light grey Slate grey RAL 9010 RAL 9001 RAL 7035 RAL 7015 Eden solvent-free powder coating Our paint lines operate to strict standards of modern environmental production. Painted steel goods are 100% solvent-free, with only lead-free (TGIC) powder being used. In the pre-treatment plants only biodegradeable (organic) chemicals are used. Electrostatic powder coating is used to produce a consistent, durable fi nish. Other standard fi nish references: 012 = Die-cast 003 = Zinc-coated 8.6

52 Terms and Conditions 8 Pallet Loads and Terms of Trade Items marked as * can only be supplied in multiples of the indicated pallet or minimum pack quantity. Note that items marked as * will be supplied in pallets in the quantity specified. If the item is not arked this still represents the minimum quantity, although the actual quantity per pallet may vary. All list prices as issued based upon this catalogue will be on an Ex Works basis unless otherwise agreed. Short lead time premiums The standard prices will apply to the lead times as detailed in this catalogue. If orders are placed and accepted at shorter lead times the following premiums will be applied: less than 3 weeks from individual item lead-time: 20% Minimum Order Value The minimum ex-works pallet order value that will be processed is 5000 ex-works.if an urgent order value less than this is minimum value is required then a admin charge of per 1000 order value will be charged with the minimum order value set at This must be agreed before an order can be loaded and is separate to any short lead premium applied to the order. Raw Material price movements. The issued price list will detail the qualifying month for all raw materials (and steel in particular) that the prices have been based upon. These prices will be held provided any raw material price does not move plus 5% of the qualifying rate and is sustained, or is known to be sustained as advised by the steel provider, for a period exceeding 6 weeks. In these instances a surcharge will be applied after a notice period of at least 4 weeks is given in order to reflect a price decrease or increase. If the increase in raw materials rates is sustained at consistent levels for more than 9 months then the list price will be amended to reflect this and the surcharge removed. 8.7

When received the order will be checked, and an order acknowledgement will be sent out that will confirm the date of delivery; this will be particularly elevant to any orders placed on short lead times. Non-standard Parts Manufacture The flexibility and versatility that is available from our Mildenhall plant as the result of investment in modern sheet-metal production machinery, means that in addition to the range of parts detailed in this catalogue, we can also offer a bespoke service that is cost-effective whilst providing the added benefit of complete, proven compatibility with the standard systems on offer. We are able to respond either to customers own drawings or make available, at an additional cost, our own design and development facilities in order to provide costs which will be based upon issued lead-times and minimum order values. 8.8
