Next day delivery DPD Timed Delivery A timed delivery can be arranged with your local depot for deliveries within Ireland from 9.00am (Premium of.80) DPD Saturday Morning Delivery All our depots and Head Offices are open on a Saturday morning between 9am and 0.0am. Deliveries on Saturday by prior arrangement with your local depot. (Premium of.00) Local Collection from any destination within local depot area. Delivery next day within same local area C.O.D. Specialist Services * : Cheque on Delivery (Premium of 7.0 per Consignment) SWAPIT This service is an all-in-one transaction to facilitate a delivery and an automatically generated collection upon delivery. The transaction is facilitated through depot and hub systems and is tracked through despatch, delivery and return to consignor. Register with your local depot for this service. CONTRACTSWAPITPAK This service is an all in one transaction to facilitate the delivery and return of a contract to be signed by the consignee upon delivery. The driver will wait while the consignee signs the contract after which the driver will replace the contract in the reusable security tagged bag which will be returned to the consignor. RECEIPT RETURN This service allows a consignor to obtain their POD on their own paperwork through the DPD Ireland service or to allow the collection of a receipt (e.g. Tesco pink slip or TRN) upon delivery that will be returned to the original consignor. This service is driven on very similar systems to the SwapIt service. Register with your local depot for this service. Customs Charges A Customs Charge of applies per consignment for the following countries Bosnia-Herzegovina Croatia Iceland Liechtenstein Norway Serbia & Montenegro Switzerland Tunisia Turkey Prohibited DPD parcels DPD only carries T goods, they are defined in Croner s reference book for exporters as: goods which are in free circulation i.e. have been wholly produced in, or been imported duty paid into the EU without subsequent remission of duty, or claim to CAP export refund. They are therefore goods on which no customs charges were payable prior to exportation. See our Standard Terms and Conditions for further details. Goods not accepted for carriage Although we always do our best to accommodate your needs, to comply with Health and Safety legislation, there are some goods that we cannot deliver. In order to protect customers goods we do not carry the following items: Dangerous goods Hazardous goods Flammable goods Living animals Perishable food Cash (including cheques or any other vouchers with a face value), jewellery, glass, precious metals or antiques Liquids Pornography Completing commercial and pro-forma invoices For customs purposes, all packages to non-eu countries noted above under custom charges must be accompanied by an invoice. A commercial invoice is required when the goods are being sold to the recipient, and a pro-forma invoice is needed when the goods are being sent free of charge. Both types of invoice should be typed on your company letterhead or company invoice. DPD Ireland must have the original invoice and three copies, each with original signatures. These must all be enclosed in a document wallet and secured to the outside of your package.
