1 Page 1 von 1 1. General regulations 1.1 Parts shall be packaged by item. 1.2 The parts will be welded and powder-coated or galvanised at a later stage. The surfaces shall therefore be dry and free of paint, grease and oil. In addition, there shall not be any adhering dirt, machining residues, chips or other contamination on the surface. The oils and greases used during manufacture shall be water-soluble. 1.3 Each package shall be clearly labelled with an accompanying document. This accompanying document shall contain at least the following information: Supplier number, PERI item number, item designation, number of pieces, date of shipment Attention: The name of the supplier shall not be noted on the accompanying document! 1.4 It is mandatory that the delivery note contains the following information: PERI item number, PERI item designation, PERI order number 1.5 If the order contains additional or different specifications to those listed in these delivery and implementation regulations, the specifications in the order shall be given priority. The PERI Procurement Department shall be contacted in case of ambiguities. 1.6 In case of ambiguities regarding the delivery and implementation regulations, in particular if detailed packaging or stacking plans are required, the PERI Procurement Department shall be contacted. 1.7 In case of non-conformance with the delivery and implementation regulations, we reserve the right to return the entire delivery or to pass on all additional costs incurred by us. 1.8 In order to kill any pests, as well as to avoid the spread of foreign organisms, all wood used for packaging (= raw wood) shall be treated and stamped in accordance with IPPC standard / ISPM 15. Attention: PERI does not permit material to be treated by fumigation! All packaging which is manufactured from engineered wood ( = processed wood) such as chipboard, plywood, OSB, etc. is exempt from treatment in accordance with IPPC standard / ISPM 15, as possible organisms were already killed off during the manufacture of these materials by gluing, pressing or heating. For further information on this, please refer to Council Directive 96/61/EC of 24 September 1996 concerning integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC Directive).

They are always unloaded using forklifts. The transport units shall be coordinated accordingly Max. weight per transport unit: 1,500 kg (gross weight incl. container) Where small parts are delivered in pallet cages, the inner sides of the pallet cages shall be lined with cardboard. This prevents the parts from "projecting" through the wire mesh of the boxes Where parts are stacked on pallets, it must be ensured that they are stacked and secured to prevent accidents. The straps used shall always be corrosion-free (galvanised steel straps or plastic straps). Where parts are stacked, it must be ensured that a stacking height of 1,200 mm is not exceeded In general, it must be ensured that the stackability of stackable containers (pallet cages, posts, pallets etc.) is not adversely affected by the parts stacked in them Goods delivery for raw or untreated parts shall be carried out so they are protected from rain and splashing water, i.e. covered transport vehicles shall be used.

There shall not be any adhering dirt, graphite, machining residues, cooling lubricant residues or other contamination on the surface The parts shall be stored in a dry place. Storage outdoors is not permitted Pallet cages which are delivered with wet / soaked or heavily damaged corrugated cardboard can be rejected by PERI and justify a corresponding complaint against the supplier The aluminium parts shall be packaged as shown below:

5 Page 5 von Special packaging (corrosion protected) for container shipments or sea freight only for delivery in containers and for sea freight for all parts independent of material and coating Delivery takes place in wooden crates Packaging layout (see schematic sketch and photos) - The wooden crate is lined with a "Big Bag", which makes it possible to lift out the purchased parts from the crate. This "Big Bag" has at least 2 loop handles for lifting out the parts (loop handles shall be freely accessible). - The "Big Bag" shall contain an anticorrosive VCI film bag (Vapour Corrosion Inhibitor) which encloses the entire material. This VCI bag is to be hermetically sealed with adhesive tape to ensure corrosion protection. - Alternatively, pallet cages can be used. In this case, the "Big Bag" can be omitted. However, the VCI film shall be used at all times. 7 Page 7 von Requirements for wooden crate - Outer dimensions: max. 1,200 mm (length) x 800 mm (width) x 950 mm (height) - Material: In accordance with IPPC (see 1. General regulations) - Maximum weight: 1,000 kg (gross weight incl. container) - The load shall be secured against toppling in the container. - Additional packaging materials (e.g. bags, nets, cardboard) shall not be packed into the wooden crates. - The wooden crate shall be designed to be stackable (at least 3 high). - The crate shall be able to withstand any demands placed on it during transport. - It shall be possible to open the wooden crate at the top and the lid shall not be nailed down. - The lid shall be strapped with at least 2 packing straps, but ideally using 4 packing straps Requirements for "Big Bag" - Material: PP - flat woven fabric, uncoated - At least 2 loop handles at the bag opening for lifting out the bag from the wooden crate - Carrying capacity corresponding to contents, but at least 1,000 kg Requirements for VCI film bag - Material: Polyethylene film (PE) with anticorrosive VCI components (Vapour Corrosion Inhibitor) - Size: Variable, corresponding to dimensions of wooden crate / pallet cage However, it must always be possible to fully enclose the material. - Material strength: at least 50 µm - Non-toxic - Harmless to health - Recyclable - Flame retardant - Transparent, colouring permitted
