4 CGS/JSWS: System Characteristics CGS JSWS Description Receives, stores, and displays MTI, FTI, and SAR images Receives signal intelligence reports from IBS networks, UAV, U2, ARL and ACS Interfaces with TACFIRE/AFATDS and All Source Analysis System (ASAS) and Other Battle Field Assets through the Army Battlefield Command System (ABCS) networks CGS/JSWS offer the same capability in different packages CGS is a tactically mobile system JSWS is mounted in transit cases 102 CGSs produced (99 Army; 3 USMC) 11 JSWS produced (6 Army; 5 USCM Both systems completed MWO Grp 6 prototype upgrade Army/USMC to fund CGS; USMC to fund JSWS Program Data Benefits/Capabilities Receives and displays Multi-Sensor surveillance data Disseminates Targeting Information Integrated into all Echelons from Theater to Brigade Commercial hardware and software Scaleable, Open Architecture
