GEARLESS DRIVE SYSTEM Inclined lifts provide excellent ride comfort, silent and efficient operation and deliver the lift cars perfectly level at every landing. ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY The complete elimination of oil use both in the drive system and the guide rails cuts energy consumption and enables clean and eco-friendly operation. SIMPLE MAINTENANCE & PROVEN RELIABILITY Inclined lifts use exactly the same components as traditional lift systems, making them easy to maintain and very reliable. IMEM Lifts is one of the few European companies which designs and manufactures inclined lifts. Our EC certification number is 0062-LD-V-B /2007. Inclined lifts can provide a helpful alternative to traditional escalator systems which do not allow access to persons of reduced mobility. VERSATILITY We provide our inclined lifts with a wide range of decorative and design options to choose from: from panoramic lift cars to one-off designs and a large selection of standardised lift car models. Our inclined lifts can be fitted with doors at the front or at the sides, with the drive system mounted above or below and with a choice of single, double or triple car entrance configurations.

The weight reduction itself reduces the static load on the drive system, which significantly increases its efficiency and working life. It also reduces the size of lift shaft required for the lift system, which saves and frees up usable space. The use of this type of steel in the lift manufacturing sector was an innovation pioneered by IMEM Lifts and resulted in the company being runner-up in the 2006 Swedish Steel Prize. We give our outdoor lifts the protection they need to remain completely unaffected by the elements, from the smallest detail up to their electrical and mechanical systems. It is a public lift which goes up a very steep slope and allows fast and easy access to two districts of the city previously requiring a long and difficult journey by road.
