The company s production of Storage Systems has been built up and developed over a considerable period of time into an extensive modern industry that includes facilities such as rolling mills where products like posts and beams are milled from cold and hot rolled materials into the best profiles. Fully-automated welding robot stations handle and refine the products efficiently and reliably. An in-house powder-coating department naturally ensures that the right paints are applied to the products while also permitting the customer to choose freely from a wide selection of colours. Our strength lies in the flexible solutions we are able to offer, along with our quick delivery and the fact that we always use our expertise in the customer s best interests. We place great emphasis on safe materials handling our products are covered by product certification as a guarantee of the strict requirements specified for quality and safety. The company has been granted certification in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality management standard. Forklifts & Workshop Machinery Here, there are 20,000 m2 of new and used workshop machinery and forklift trucks, along with a well-stocked retail shop for workshop equipment. Our warehouse always holds at least 1,500 reconditioned, meticulously inspected machines, from good old workhorses to digitally controlled units and entire production lines. 4 Pallet racking Our CITY pallet racking is the ideal storage system. Pallet handling in CITY pallet racking is highly flexible, enabling logistical efficiency for goods handling in the spare parts store, for wholesalers or for the engineering and automotive industries our pallet racking systems can be found in all industrial sectors. Our complete range of accessories makes goods warehousing simple and efficient, even for products of widely differing dimensions. We take care of the entire project, from planning to assembly. 4

Quality and safety To us, quality and safety are obvious factors to promote in any contacts with our customers. For this reason our pallet racking has been awarded product certification by DNV and meets the standards specified by SS 2240 and INSTA 250. Maintenance Pallet racking should be inspected on an ongoing basis but at least every 12 months as regards examining whether posts, beams, fixing devices, stages etc. have become distorted or damaged in some other way, which could affect the strength of the pallet racking. The purchaser or user is responsible for ensuring that inspections are carried out and documented. A marker plate and information about the maximum load/section, plus maximum load/beam must be located in a prominent position on the staging.contact the supplier if the pallet racking is to be reconfigured, reconstructed or moved. 7

14 Drive-in racking An efficient method of storing large volumes of goods on pallets. The pallets are stored depthways in the required quantities, and handled from the longside. The drive-in pallet rack is based on the size and weight of the palletised goods to ensure maximum storage capacity. The choice of truck used is of great importance to the optimum logistics. 14

17 Drive-in racking We provide you with proposals and expertise everything from planning to customer orders. 18 Mobile units Mobile racking saves considerable amounts of space and gives rise to a utilisation level of up to 85% of the premises, as the number of truck aisles can be reduced to a minimum. Mobile units are often used in locations where storage space is expensive, such as in frozen and refrigerated stores. SAFETY The access routes in and out of the aisles are fitted with photoelectric cell screening to prevent crush injuries. 18
19 Mobile units The trucks are operated individually with a separation distance predetermined by capacitive sensors, to prevent the trucks or goods from bumping into one another. The correct number of motors in the truck guarantees a constant, balanced movement, even for long sections. Everything is controlled by PLCs of well-known makes. 20 Pallet live storage This storage method is based on compact stock handling in combination with the first in/first out principle. The pallet/box rolls through the racking structure on an inclined track from loading to unloading. This offers unlimited options for handling goods of different weights and sizes. Braked rollers work with planetary gearing, which means that the roll speed is equal regardless of pallet weight. The rollers are also dual-purpose and are used in push-back storage systems. 20
21 Pallet handling The lower front pallet can be handled with a pallet truck because the height of this track is 60 mm and separated. To be able to handle the pallet in the picking position, we use pallet separation, which allows picked pallets to be removed without any weight-loading from the pallets behind. We can also separate all pallets depth-wise if the goods do not permit weight-loading from pallets behind. Pallet live storage To be able to use stackers, there needs to be subdivision into 2 or 3 tracks front and back to counteract the fact that the forks cannot be tilted. The pallet weight controls the subdivision of the tracks. Box and bin handling For streamlined, ergonomic picking from boxes or bins, we have systems with independent racking or built into the pallet racking. Width and depth are matched to the size of the products with a maximum width of around 3000 mm and a maximum depth of around 4500 mm. Capacity has been maximised at 1250 kg per level.. For maximum ergonomics, we can also expose the pick level towards the picker. Roller racking with a separation of 28 mm and a capacity of 8 kg per roller optimises the function of the roller racking. A separator height of 55 mm or a universal variety allows separation into channels by width and design. 21

23 Cornice / Timber racking Timber racking For storing whole or half packs of timber. The packs are handled on rollers integrated into special beams. The system is simple to modify and expand. 24 Modular shelving The METRO shelf unit is extremely flexible and thanks to its extensive range of accessories is it easy to adapt. Sturdy and easy to assemble. There are wide areas of application, such as shop storage which is just as suitable for use as archive shelving or in a car mechanic s workshop. 24

Other accessories are in grey powder coating. Shelf loading capacity Distributed load: 150 kg with a material thickness of 0.8 mm. 200 kg with a material thickness of 1.0 mm. 30 Double the floor area! Mezzanines systems SIMPLE QUICK ECONOMICAL We design and manufacture complete mezzanine levels customised to your requirements. The floor of the mezzanine level consists of flooring plywood with a hardwearing anti-slip surface, which is supported by profiled sheet metal. The plywood can also be replaced by chipboard that can be covered with vinyl flooring. If required, open grid floor structures are available. Mezzanine flooring can also be built on existing shelf and pallet racking. Steps, handrails, gates etc. are included and all materials are supplied in easily assembled sections that bolt together. All steel is supplied with a lacquered finish. 30
