We can then create a pre-screen shutdown list which identifies those that require an actual shutdown situation, and those that can be maintained outside the shutdown period. Maintenance activities carried out independently from the shutdown reduces labor requirements and the time required during the shutdown. Next we carry out detailed condition analysis to identify devices requiring no action, those that can be maintained in place, those that need to be removed during shutdown and the exact actions required.
