34 Duluth-Superior Port Land Use Plan A guide for public and private development of lands and properties along the working waterfront of the Duluth- Superior Port.
35 Duluth-Superior Port Land Use Plan The Plan considers and integrates into its recommendations: The large amount of harbor related planning work undertaken by multiple agencies; The economic benefit of the Port as well as the ecological and recreation value of the St. Louis River estuary; Multi-modal transportation access; Recent infrastructure investments; and Input from a wide range of stakeholders. The original plan was completed in 1978, and has been updated several times since.
36 Future Land Use Map A guide for Duluth and Superior to incorporate into their Comprehensive Plans, by: Prioritizing maritime uses for lands adjacent to the shipping channel; Maintaining industrial lands with road and rail access for compatible maritime uses; Retaining established commercial, residential, recreational and natural areas.
