Notice: This is a contract for moving services and is subject to the terms and conditions on this document and any addendum. Type of Proposal: Binding Not-to-Exceed Moving Services Agreement Charges for Moving. Each move will be billed a service charge and have a minimum charge for one hour of labor. Any additional time required during the move will be rounded to the nearest quarter hour. Oversized or unique items such as pianos and safes may require an additional fee. If unable to move a specific item, a Wyatt Brothers representative will refer another moving company. *Wyatt Brothers Moving Company (WBM) will not be responsible for any of their charges. 2 Additional Services requested: Payment Payment is due at the completion of the move. Payments accepted: COD, Credit Card, Check (payable to WYATT BROTHERS MOVING.) In the event of non-payment, Customer agrees to pay interest at the rate of 1.5% (of the total cost for the move) per month on any past due balance. Customer agrees to pay expenses incurred by Wyatt Brothers Moving in seeking payment, including but not limited to reasonable attorney's fees. The highest handling charge allowed by law is issued to checks returned due to non-sufficient funds. Cancellation fee of $ is applied if services are cancelled within 24hrs of move. Damage Claims Although our movers will be careful with your possessions, from time to time damages may occur. If damage is caused by our service, Wyatt Brothers Moving Company reserves the right to repair the damage(s) in question. If we determine that the damage cannot be repaired, we reserve the right to either replace or compensate (actual cash value) for the damage. If there is damage, please notify your movers immediately. They will give you a Damage Claim Form before they leave your site. If you discover damage after the move, call the office within 96 hours of your move and we will you a Damage Claim Form to fill out. No damage claims will be honored until the charges for moving services are paid in full. Damages caused while unloading/ loading your truck or storage unit: Wyatt Brothers Moving is only responsible for items in our immediate care, custody and control. Wyatt Brothers Moving is not responsible for any damages that may occur during transport after loading a pod or any vehicle that is not owned by Wyatt Brothers Moving. By signing this contract you are acknowledging the Household Goods Carrier Limitation of Liability. (seen below.) Wyatt Brothers Moving is not responsible for items broken by customer on the job. Wyatt Brothers Moving is not responsible for damaged items that customer packed themselves, particle board furniture or for lost jewelry/cash. Wyatt Brothers Moving will not transport fine China.
