2.3 Machinery description The FLOWMOULD system is designed to make soles fitted to the athlete in different sports, using specific soles by LENZ and the patented machinery object of this document. The machinery is capable of determine the correct shoe size of the user, align the foot via the onboard LASER and molding the sole through a thermal process. In every step of the measuring and molding of the sole, the safety of the user is guaranteed by different safety systems described in this document. The FLOWMOULD is produced with materials that guarantee the user safety, both for the safety during use and the hygiene aspect. THE USE OF THE MACHINERY IN ANY WAY NOT INTENDED IN THIS DOCUMENT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED THE CONNECTION TO THE ELECTRIC POWER NETWORK MUST BE CARRI- ED OUT IN RESPECT OF THE SPECIFIC TECHNICAL AND SAFETY RULES 3 - Safety instruction Particular care was taken during the design as that no part of the machinery would be harmful to the user. In this regard, it was considered that the machinery is intended for non-occupational use in commercial environments. The electrical components of the machinery, where bought from suppliers, are CE marked and accompanied by the declaration of conformity and the relative technical documentation, in accordance with Directive 2006/42/EC or other Directives or harmonized standards as applicable. 3.1 Fixed guards The machinery is equipped with a fixed guard covering it completely, which eliminates the risk of contact with dangerous parts. The small openings necessary to allow the movements of some part of the machinery are covered with a rigid material that reduce the risk of contacts with moving parts. MODIFY OR TAMPER WITH THE FIXED GUARD OR PROTECTIVE COMPO- NENTS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED 7

3.2 Emergency stop At any time, if necessary, it is possible to stop the machinery by activating the relative command on the touch screen. This command interrupts the heating of the soles and resets the machinery at the start settings. 3.3 Maintenance Qualified technical personnel, authorized by the manufacturer, must perform every maintenance activity. ANY MAINTENANCE INTERVENTION SHOULD BE NECESSARILY PRECE- DED BY THE INTERRUPTION OF THE ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY, DONE BY DISCONNECTING THE POWER PLUG IT IS MANDATORY THAT THE MAINTENANCE SERVICE, AS WELL AS THE USER, APPLIES ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THIS DOCUMENT 8

4 - Transport, unpacking, installation 4.1 Transport and unpacking The machinery is loaded on a pallet and then packed in a cardboard box. The total weight of the machinery and the packaging combined is over 75 kg, therefore every movement of the packaging must be performed with specific handling equipment (transpallet, forklift). To unpack the machinery, use specific cutting tool to open the cardboard box, and then unload the components from the pallet. During these operations, the user must use personal protective equipment such as protective gloves to reduce the risk of injuries. At least three people at the same time, considering the weight of the base (> 60 kg), should perform the unloading of the base of the machinery. 4.2 Mounting The machinery is shipped divided in two parts, the base and the support for the control panel. Therefore, the machinery should be mounted before its installation. The mounting is performed by inserting the pole in the specific cavity on the machinery and subsequently fixing the two parts with the supplied screws (see image in the back cover). 4.3 Installation The installation of the machinery is performed by levelling it using the adjustable feet and then by inserting the plug in a socket for the electrical power supply. The machinery should be horizontal for proper operation. The machinery is equipped with a type F plug (see images in the back cover). 9

5 - Use of the machinery 5.1 Operation of the machinery After starting the Flowmould APP, the device will automatically connect with the machinery, if not, please press the CONNECT button. In seconds, the app and the machinery will connect, and the STANDBY screen will appear. 5.2 Turn on the system With the FLOWMOULD MACHINE in STANDBY mode, press the STANDBY button to turn on the cooling system and open the INSOLE SELECTION screen. The starting time is about hours, this time allow the cooling system to reach the target temperature of 5 C. The system can be used anytime after the temperature displayed is below 15 C. 10

5.3 Insole selection Connect the insoles to the machinery (see images in the back cover), inserting the flexprint of the insole in the dedicated base and blocking it with the magnetic clamp. The insole model is written on the sole. Once the insoles are in place, select the desired sole model by pressing the relative button. 5.4 Installation of the FLOWMOULD soles If one or both the insoles are incorrectly installed, the app will prompt a red indication (right image). In this second case, proceed to verify the connection problem until both the insoles are correctly installed on the machinery. Climb on the machinery by placing your feet on the soles, taking care to place the heel against the appropriate socket If the insoles are both correctly installed, the app will prompt a green indication.
