Mooney Training & Consulting August 19, 2014 How Fleet Got Started City of Kitchener, Environmental Committee recommended registration for Fleet in the Air Quality in Kitchener 2006 Report Approved by City Council, the report highlighted the City of Kitchener s social responsibility in maintaining good air quality and sound environmental practices Fleet Division had implemented environmental initiatives for many years: comprehensive fuel and energy reduction strategies vehicle-procurement and equipment upgrades and monitoring CVOR compliance emission testing and inspections documented divisional staff policies and procedures ISO EMS Purpose Balance laws and regulations, corporately mandated initiatives, public and community interests with business unit objectives 1
