1 Section 5- Ticketing, Merchandise Labeling Requirements CCS Ticketing Requirements It is the requirement of CCS to have each vendor pre-ticket all merchandise. The information noted below remains a constant requirement. All tickets need to be pressure sensitive self-adhesive labels. Labels should be placed on the outside of the packaging or polybag according to the ticket placement guidelines on page 5 5. No hang tags. The following information is required on all tickets. All information is available on the CCS purchase order detail. CCS SKU AND SIZE in human readable form. (Separate fields for Sku and Size) SKU May be up to 8 positions with numeric, alphabetic, or alphanumeric. SIZE May be up to 5 positions with numeric, alphabetic, or alphanumeric. DESCRIPTION Must include Vendor name, style description, color BAR CODE Must contain the CCS Sku and Size. (Separated by one position) A future requirement will be the use of UPCs in a barcode. CCS currently reads the following three bar code types/symbology. 1. Interleaved 2 of 5 2. Code 128 (Outer Carton) 3. UPC CCS prefers a label size of 3 X 1. Labels must be a minimum size of 2 X 1 and no more then a maximum size of 4 X 2. Small accessories may have a minimum size of 1 ½ X 7/8. 13

All tickets being produced by you or another third party supplier will need to have the layout approved by the CCS division (715) Scan tests will be your responsibility and must meet CCS specifications. 3 You may obtain pre-printed tickets from CCS. Please fill out the provided ticket order form and fax it to Cost will be $50.00 per 1,000 tickets and a minimum charge of $25.00 per order. All costs will be charged to your purchase order invoice and costs are subject to change with or without notice. Vendors are responsible for all shipping costs. Lead time 5 business days after receipt of order. CCS will print complete purchase orders as well as any extra tickets that may be needed. Please see Section 2 Purchase Orders. When completing the manual ticket request form, please print as clearly as possible. Make sure to line through all zeros and to watch for fives looking like an S or vice versa. 15

5 Section 5- Ticketing, Merchandise Labeling Requirements Ticketing Placement Guidelines To maintain consistency in sticker placement, follow the guidelines below when ticketing all merchandise. Do Not cover any information including existing UPCs All stickers must be visible and scannable making certain that they are fully visible if item is folded and/or packaged Affixing Adhesive Stickers Shoe Box Stickers: All Apparel: Socks: Hats: Sports Equipment: Bags / Packs: Sunglasses: Accessories: Hardgoods: Stickers must be placed on the lower left or right-hand corner of one end of the box so as not to cover product information or UPCs. The sticker should not be applied to the box lid except in cases when the lid covers most or all of the box (overlay lid). Note: the sticker should be placed on the same end of the box as the UPC. Shirts, Tops, Jackets, Shorts, Pants, etc.. Apparel should be individually polybagged. Stickers must be placed on the top front outside of the polybags. No hang tags. Affix sticker on the outside of the sock band for all banded socks (singles and multiple pairs). All socks must be individually polybagged per PO. Sticker must be placed on the outside of the polybags. All hats must be individually polybagged. Stickers should be placed on the top of the polybag near the front bill. Stickers must be placed on the lower right hand corner of one end of box so as not to cover product information. Note: The sticker should be placed at the same end of the box as the UPC. All bags / packs must be folded flat showing vendor logo and individually polybagged. Stickers should be placed on top side of the polybag. Stickers should be placed on the bottom of the sunglass case or on the outside of the polybag. Stickers should be placed on the outside of packaging or polybag. Numeric, alphabetic, or alphanumeric. Size Can be up to five positions. Numeric, alphanumeric, or alphanumeric. Line B: Description One line which includes vendor name, style name, color, etc.. Line C: Location Assigned CCS DC location. (If you create your own labels or go through a third party this line is not necessary.) Line D: Bar Code We use the following three bar code languages. Code 39 Code 128 Interleaved 2 of 5. Line E: Sku/Style/Size number. ******* Required information: Lines A, B, and D. It is extremely important that all label information is human readable except for the bar code which must have the Sku/Style and Size encoded. Labels must be a minimum of 2 X 1 in size and be capable of holding all information requested in human readable type size. 18

7 Section 5 Additional Information CCS STYLE PRODUCT NUMBER BLANK CCS SIZE MAXIMUM 8 DIGITS SPACE MAXIMUM 5 DIGITS The CCS Sku has a maximum total of 14 digits. The CCS Style/Product number should start with the first digit and has a maximum of 8 digits. Any CCS Style/Product numbers with less than 8 digits must have blank spaces for the remaining digits. The ninth digit of the CCS Sku must always be a blank space. The ninth digit separates the CCS Style/Product number from the CCS Size. The CCS Size should start with the tenth digit and has a maximum of 5 digits. Any CCS Size with less than 5 digits should have blank spaces for the remaining digits. CCS Sizes All sizes must be listed as follows below: CCS Description Line: The description line must be able to hold 30 digits. 19
