7 Summary of conditions of carriage International liability All carriage of goods will be governed by s general conditions of carriage (copy available at and by the Warsaw Convention in respect of carriage by air and the CMR Convention for carriage by road (if appropriate). Our maximum liability unless the Warsaw Convention operates is 100 per consignment. Claims Should you need to make a claim, please contact our Claims Department at our National Customer Service Centre, which will send you a claim form to complete and answer any queries you may have. If a consignment is damaged or lost, must be advised within 14 days of the date of despatch, and a formal claim must be made in writing within 28 days. Goods not accepted for carriage or storage will accept most goods for transit but cannot accept certain goods for carriage or storage, including but not limited to dangerous goods, hazardous goods, flammable goods, firearms or liquids of any kind. Furthermore, no consignments will be accepted which are dangerous goods/hazardous material and subject to the regulations of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). If you have a query, staff at your local depot will be happy to advise you. goods s charges are based on weight, but should the volume of the goods exceed 6 cubic metres per tonne, then the company reserves the right to charge by volume. Proof of delivery The customer shall, if so required, sign an electronic signature capture device as proof of delivery of a consignment. Any computerised record of the customer s signature obtained from an electronic signature capture device shall be conclusive evidence of the delivery of the quantity of parcels that comprise the consignment.
