9 WB56 Status WB56 Cartridge Actuated Initiator supplies gas pressure for actuating various components used in the sequencing system of the aircraft. JAU-77/A, NSN: P/Ns: 3205AS268 & EA-18G, FA-18B/D/F, NEA-18G, NFA-18D Limited Service Life Extensions (SLE) possible All SCID items tend to slow with total age and installed time With observed no-fires, little or no extension is possible on WB55/JL56/XW54 Inventory/ E-Stock: Very Limited Inventory 9

10 WB55 Status WB55 (JAU-76/A) Cartridge Actuated Initiator is used as a time delay pressure booster as well as a power source for the harness release initiator in the Aircraft Personnel Escape System. For all SCID items: Continue to monitor items through OA, testing more regularly than standard item Current inventory will be strictly monitored Orders are being reviewed and fulfilled individually Manufacturing order and priority are being closely monitored based on requirements Per TYCOM direction seat does not need to be pulled to change out WB55s Trying to get as much life out of each unit as possible Estimated date to return to prior ages and stock levels: September

11 CWDR Status Old design obsolete, no longer available for procurement New design should be ordered shortly, will be sometime until units are available for fleet use Will maximize use of Service Life Extensions to maintain as much stock for production line and emergency replacement May do additional Ordnance Assessment test to support additional extension requests 11

12 SR95 and WB19 Status DFIRS Doors contains a pyrotechnic assembly that severs the center section of the cover to permit deployment of the RD-633/A Signal Data Recorder. Production: Vendor Delays on Delivery Service Life extensions (SLE): Have been providing 24 month extensions Investigating at increasing the service life limits Inventory/ E-Stock: Limited Inventory 12
