2 Page 2 of 7 CMSNA CONTINUED & COMPREHENSIVE TOP PERFORMANCE SUPPORT PACKAGES Top Performance for the Long Run CMS North America offers a variety of comprehensive top performance support packages to insure your CNC equipment continues performing at the highest level possible, as well as reducing unexpected machine down time. CMSNA s package plans allow your company to schedule maintenance, training and calibration services at your convenience, while providing fixed known costs at reduced rates. In addition each plan also includes CMSNA s 24/7/365 Phone Support with access to our knowledge database and instructional videos through during the contract period. Preventative Maintenance Preventative Maintenance consists of three days on site; additional time will be billed at a discounted labor rate. Note: All Lubricants and coolants must be provided by customer. Not all of the following systems may exist on your machine for examination; others not listed due to the specialization of your machine will be checked even though not listed. Results are logged and retained for future reference in CMSNA s reporting system. Ball screws and nuts, or rack and pinions, linear ways and bearings: Check condition and make minor adjustments as required Rotary Couplings, check condition of seals, repair or replace if needed Spindle motors: Testing and observation of each spindle motor's condition (check current, voltage, threads on the mounting flanges, finger collets and drawbar) Carbon Brushes: Check revolver and DC servo motors Optional axis: Examination and adjustment of axis mechanical and electrical system Z axis balancing: Examination of Z axis balancing cylinder seals and alarm sensors. Hydraulic system: Examination of hydraulic system Vacuum pump(s): Examination of vacuum pump(s), dry filters, oil system leaks, and vacuum gauges - reading Air conditioning system: Cleaning of dust from intakes, and adjustment of temperature sensor within cabinet CNC controllers: Examination of CNC controller function (switches and knobs) Wiring/terminations: Examination of wire terminations within electrical cabinet, loose wires or connectors; check condition of wiring for machine in general Lubrication system: Verify correct lubrication X & Y axis gear boxes: Check oil levels Electrospindle cooling systems: check and verify proper function B & C axis alignment with dial indicator

3 Page 3 of 7 Laser Calibration/Alignment Equipment used: Hamar L743 Triple Scan Laser: 3 continuously rotating laser planes with operational range of 100 radius Laser planes flat to ½ arc sec ( /ft or mm/M) in 180 sweep and ¼ arc sec ( /ft or 0.001mm/M) in 90 sweep Planes are mutually square to 1 arc sec ( /ft or 0.005mm/M) Uses A-1520 singe axis wireless targets with 1 Micron ( ) resolution Renishaw ML 10 Laser system with Environmental Compensation Unit: System accuracy of +/- 0.7 ppm is maintained throughout its operation range Uses Renishaw Laser 10 reporting software RX 10 Rotary Calibrator for rotary axis calibration QC 20 Ball Bar System Standard laser calibration/alignment includes: Check and adjust machine straightness, flatness, and squareness of X, Y, and Z axes to CMS specifications Five axis head alignment Check and calibrate linear and rotary compensation points, provide written data of results Check and calibrate straightness compensation points for X/Z and Y/Z, if option is active on control Note: Ball bar diagnostics and body diagonals data collection are available at additional quoted costs. Benefits of using CMS North America Inc: CMS North America will measure the machine, make the mechanical adjustments and insure it is within CMS specifications at job completion. All measurement and calibration is done in accordance with ASME (American Society Mechanical Engineers) B 5.54 standard. In addition there are real cost savings for not having two parties carry out and complete the calibration. Most calibration companies do not adjust a machine mechanically, if such is required. 4 Page 4 of 7 Support package Options OPTION 1: BRONZE PACKAGE... $4, One PM: includes travel time and expenses, up to three days on site Parts discount of 10% for parts purchased during PM and 5% discount on all other parts purchased during the calendar year Service labor and travel time rate reduction of 15%, if any such is required, outside of the OPTION 2: SILVER PACKAGE... $7, One laser calibration/alignment: includes travel time and expenses, up to five days on site Parts discount of 5% on all parts purchased during calendar year Service labor and travel time rate reduction of 20%, if any such is required, outside of the Note for all laser calibration/alignment packages: Machines having either a Z stroke of more than 2 meters, or a length of more than 15 meters add $2, to the price of Option 2, adds two days on site. For machines over 10 meters in length, customer is requested to remove all metal covers and bellows before the CMS tech arrives, such work left to be done by the CMS tech will be charged at the discounted labor rate plus expenses. For machines over 10 meter in length or 2 meters in Z client is requested to provide one (1) of their staff people to assist the CMS tech with mechanical adjustment to the rails and mast, otherwise CMS will provide one of its staff techs at customer s charge at the rate of $600/day expenses included. OPTION 3: GOLD PACKAGE... $11, Silver Package plus the following One PM, up to three days on site, including travel time and expenses Plus an additional Parts discount of 10% for parts purchased during PM, for a total of 15%; and 10% discount on all other parts purchased during the calendar year Service labor and travel time rate reduction of 25%, if any such is required, outside of the OPTION 4: PLATINUM PACKAGE... $17, Gold Package plus the following: One advanced/programming training, up to five days on site, including travel time and expenses Plus an additional Parts discount of 5% for parts purchased during PM. For a total of 20%; and 10% discount on all other parts purchased during the calendar year Service labor and travel time rate reduction of 30%, if any such is required, outside of the
