If both the mirrors pass the requirements then only the remaining portion shall be tested for other requirements, otherwise the control unit shall be rejected without further testing and two samples from every subsequent control unit shall be tested for the characteristics in which failure has occurred until five consecutive control units are satisfactory where upon the original frequency of two samples from every 7 th control unit may be restored One sample shall be tested for silvering, copper coating and protective coating and shall satisfy the given requirements of the specification. If the sample fails in the requirements tested, the control unit shall be considered unfit for the purpose of marking The sheet glass employed in the manufacture of mirrors shall conform with requirements prescribed for AA & A qualities of IS A Certificate to that effect shall be necessary for each batch of sheet glass received.
