2 Subject: Trash Can Liners - Request for Proposals (RFP) #BUI Date Due: October 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM EDT Question 1: The minimum specifications for the strength gauge of the two liners that are listed on the RFP are 12 or 16 micron. There is roughly a 34% difference in the thickness, which translates into a significant difference in cost. Please clarify if the current trash can liners being used are 12 or 16 micron? In the past the airport has requested 22 micron bags. Answer 1: 43x48 Large Bags needs to be a 22 33x40 Small Bags needs to be a 16 or 18 38x58 Medium Bag needs to be at least 1 mil (dark, thickness) Question 2: How will price increases be handled? Answer 2: Please refer to section 7.5 (Price Adjustments) of the Solicitation Document. Complete instructions are given for submitting a price adjustment. Question 3: Could CRAA provide the previous bid results that includes the awards and tabulations for each line item? Answer 3: See attached bid tab sheet from the previous solicitation. Document titled BUI Previous Bid Tab - Can Liners. Question 4: Will CRAA order the annual usage all at one time or periodically throughout the year for the items shown on the solicitation? Answer 4: CRAA will order the products on an as needed basis via purchase order. The annual usage given on the solicitation is an estimate only. Please note, there is no guarantee that CRAA will purchase the amounts shown. It could be more, it could be less. Question 5: Can CRAA provide the brand, item number and pricing for the current trash can liners being purchased? Answer 5: CRAA s current product listing is as follows: (Large Bags) High Density Polyethylene Can Liners / Dimensions: 43 x 48 = $23.75 (Clear Only) (Small Bags) High Density Polyethylene Can Liner / Dimensions: 33 x 4040= $20.10 (Clear Only) (Medium Bags) Low Density Polyethylene Can Liner / Dimensions: 38 x 58 = $18.10 (Dark Bag)

3 Question 6: Do we have to bid on all items listed on the solicitation? Will not bidding on all items disqualify us? Answer 6: While it is CRAA s preference that vendors bid on each line item, there is no requirement to do so. Bidders will not be disqualified for not bidding on each line item. Question 7: Are samples required only if quoting an alternative to specifications? Answer 7: Samples are required for every item quoted. Question 8: How many locations will be utilizing this contract? Answer 8: The contract will be used for trash can liners at 2 locations (John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) & Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK). Question 9: How often are orders being placed? Answer 9: Typically CRAA orders once per month. This is provided as an estimate only. CRAA is under no obligation to maintain a specific purchase pattern and / or volume amount. Question 10: Approximately, how many cases are ordered at one time?
