Scope of Work The scope of this project is to appoint a service provider to supply, deliver and install projectors for ETDP SETA offices. Evaluation Criteria The ETDP SETA applies the provisions of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, NO 5 OF 2000 and Preferential Procurement Regulations, This bid will be evaluated at 80/20, preference point system. Preference points for this bid shall be awarded for: Price 80 B-BBEE status level of contributor 20 Total points Price and B-BBEE: 100 In order to facilitate a transparent selection process that allows equal opportunity to all services providers, the ETDP SETA will adhere to its policy on the appointment of services providers. 3. Bid Conditions 3.1 The ETDP SETA Supply Chain Management Policy will apply. 3.2 ETDP SETA reserves the right to amend ToR before closing date of a bid. 3.3 Bidders must submit certified or original copy of B-BBEE Certificates from SANAS accredited Verification Agencies in order to be eligible for empowerment points. In case of Exempted Micro Enterprise (EME) a letter from the Accounting Officer /Auditor confirming turnover of the business is required. 3.4 Non-submission of B-BBEE certificate will not lead to disqualification but no preferential points will be earned. 3.5 Bidders who form joint venture must submit a consolidated B-BBEE Verification Certificate for this bid. 3.6 ETDP SETA does not bind itself to accept the lowest bid or any other bid and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the bid. 5 3.7 Bids which are late, incomplete, unsigned, submitted by facsimile or electronically, will not be accepted. 3.8 Price(s) quoted must be firm and be inclusive of VAT. 3.9 The quotes must be itemised according to the item descriptions only Bids submitted are to hold good for a period of 90 days 4. Submission of BID Documents All quotation documents (completed in (x4) Hard Copy 1x Original and 3x copies) must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with RFQ: ETDP SETA-2014/ SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF PROJECTORS FOR ETDP SETA OFFICES Bid documents must be deposited in the bid box situated at: 24 Johnson Road Riverwoods Office Park The Oaks Building Bedfordview Johannesburg Bidders should ensure that bid documents are delivered timeously to the correct address. 7. Closing Date and Time Bid documents must be submitted by no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday, 20 June 2014; and between 08h00 and 16h30 Monday to Friday prior to the closing date. No late submissions will be accepted! 8. Enquiries and Contact Person NO telephonic or any other form of communication relating to this bid will be permitted with any other ETDPSETA member of staff either by Bidders (as collective bidding team or individual team(s) of the bidding team),representative of Bidders,associates of Bidders, shareholders of Bidders, other than with the named individual stated below.
