3 Dear shipowners, managers and officers, Thank you for your interest in our services regarding updating of your ships chart folios and libraries. We hope to be helpful for you by implementing such service which vastly eases shore and onboard navigational management. Automatic supply: If you choose this service first we will need your onboard charts outfit and books in the library by BA charts numbering (or any other publisher, i.e. IMO, USCG, etc.) as well as the edition date of them. For all of active items on board we inform you on a weekly basis or whenever is requested by you with all items that are having new edition and must be supplied on board. The order is packed and ready to be dispatched wherever requested. If any items are ordered not to be supplied, they automatically go to sleeping status, since we assume that is needless to the vessel except if we have been told to keep it active. These items can be reactivated upon request and we will inform you which of the items are still valid or not. Moreover you will receive monthly a notice for all of the cancelled items to be removed from the vessel. For any new items that have been published for the first time you will be informed in monthly basis in order for you to check if it is necessary to supply or not. Any dispatch will be labeled separately for the certain vessel to which it is prepared. The shipment can be sent to your office or address given by you or if you prefer directly to the ship depending where she is in the present moment by the ship agent or whatsoever arrangement you can provide. If you choose delivery to office or any constant address this will be free of charge and alternative we will apply courier services fees. Quarterly you will receive report for present chart and library status as well as what have been supplied during this period. 3 of 10

No chart will be forwarded without your written confirmation. 7 Electronic Charts & Digital Publications ARCS Admiralty Raster Charts (ARCS) are high quality, exact digital versions of British Admiralty (BA) paper charts. Produced by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) for the commercial shipping industry, ARCS charts meet the IHO s S-61 Raster Navigational Chart (RNC) standards and can be used in ECDIS where ENCs are not yet available. ARCS charts share the same appearance, numbering, coverage, and quality assurance as BA paper charts. Their familiar image aids the transition to electronic navigation by minimizing training requirements, enabling crews to navigate with confidence. AVCS The Admiralty Vector Chart Service (AVCS) is the most comprehensive, consistent, official and quality assured Electronic Navigation Chart coverage in the world, available today. AVCS brings together Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs) from the Hydrographic offices around the world and new ENC coverage produced by UKHO in co-operation with Foreign Governments. The AVCS service only contains ENC data that meets Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) Carriage Requirements for use within ECDIS. ENCs are digital vector charts produced to the International Hydrographic Organization s standards (S57 Version 3.1 and ENC Product Specification). They are referred to World Geodetic System 1984 Datum (WGS84) and are regularly updated with official update information. AVCS provides costeffective coverage of the world s major shipping routes, avoiding the need to purchase unnecessary data. 7 of 10
