The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is a commercial service for Government, acting on behalf of the Crown, to drive savings for the taxpayer and improve the quality of commercial and procurement activity across the public sector. CCS brings together, as one organisation, Government Procurement Service, the commercial function of the Cabinet Office, and common goods and services procurement and commercial management currently undertaken by departments. Its vision is to deliver value for the nation through outstanding commercial capability and quality customer service. CCS is an executive agency of the Cabinet Office and operates as a trading fund under the Government Trading Funds Act CCS manage the RM3812 framework agreement and have benchmarked Link51 s products against other bidding companies to confirm their product quality and value for money. 3

4 STATIC SHELVING Cost effective solutions to meet your storage requirements The Stormor shelving range is a truly versatile and interchangeable system comprising of three product types that can be used alone or in combination. The entire range has attractive slim profile shelves and frames which provide runs with a neat co-ordinated appearance. The Stormor open sided frame system is designed as a post type system which permits airflow between the bays and allows easy storage of oversized objects, for example, rolled maps which can fit across several bays of shelving without the need for a specialised storage system. 5 Our double panel frame provides a clean aesthetic look making it ideal for use in libraries and museums or where shelving needs to conform to BS 4971:2017 Conservation and care of archive and library collections (Formally PD5454). Our comprehensive range of accessories feature clip-in fittings so that any changes are quickly and easily made helping to make Stormor metal shelving one of the most versatile systems available. All shelves and storage accessories are standard in design and fit all three frame types allowing you to adapt your shelving as future needs change without worrying about compatibility. Stormor shelving range of accessories allows you to tailor your storage to your needs. The clip-in design allows retro fitting of most components giving you the reassurance that the system can adapt to meet future changing storage requirements. 6 MOBILE SHELVING Save or create space through efficient storage management Mobile shelving is a cost effective method of maximising your storage capacity or freeing up space within any environment including offices, archives, libraries or stock rooms, especially as the cost of floor space is ever increasing. Link51 manufactures a wide range of mobile systems designed to suit your every storage need. A mobile system will be chosen from the product range based on the type of floor you have, the size and weight of equipment you need to store and the available height and width you have in your designated storage area. Our range of tracks ensures smooth and accurate operation for new or existing floors. A light duty trackless mobile is also available and ideal for healthcare and office storage with minimal disruption to existing flooring. Based on a nominal room size of 5.5 x 4 metres, 32 four drawer filing cabinets would provide approximately 76 linear metres of filing. Mobile shelving increases the filing capacity to 205 linear metres. When a document is required the particular shelving bay is identified and an adjacent aisle created by moving the mobile shelving units apart. Alternatively Mobile shelving can reduce the space required for storage. Up to 50% of the floor space can be released for other uses when compared with filing cabinets and 38% more with static shelving. 6

7 Low level high density mobile storage is ideal in an open office environment where the need to store files in close proximity to desks is required. Responding to customer requirements, Link51 have designed a new Trackless Mobile system which is designed to sit directly on your existing floor without the need for a ramped floor and without tracks in the aisles. The Trackless Mobile provides an attractive, easy to maintain, clean environment that is simple to relocate and will not leave any residual mess. Using a mobile system can increase storage capacity by up to 70%. Link51 has a range of end and back panels available to complete your look from steel or fabric to laminate end panels. Making even the most utilitarian workspace feel vibrant, dynamic and welcoming. 7

8 LIBRARY & OFFICE Aesthetic and practical storage and display systems Whilst any of our shelving products can be used in Library and Office environments, Link51 offers a range of products designed specifically to meet the requirements of today s modern librarian and office manager. Our Library shelving range is as flexible and accommodating as you need it to be, providing cantilever and post system shelving with all the accessories you would expect, including; attractive finishes, signage, display shelves and themed areas. As the cost of office space is ever increasing, the demands on public sector to reduce storage space and adapt modern practices such as hot desking in office environments means the consideration given to office storage becomes more important. Link51 has a range of space saving products that will take care of these needs, whilst Rotary Storage units offer high capacity and fast retrieval rates, Low Level and Trackless Mobile systems bring mobile storage into the core of the office by providing solutions that can be used within a desking environment or as partitioning within the office. If you ve got odd corners, corridors and alcoves a Move-a-Side configuration can help you make the most of every inch. It can increase storage capacity by 75 90% compared to ordinary shelving. Rotary Storage Units can increase picking rates as well as providing increased capacity, the units are simple to access with just one turn and all the files are available to you. One rotary unit will only occupy the same space as two lateral filing cabinets but can store the equivalent of four cabinets within the same footprint. Units can be locked shut ensuring secure storage of contents, making them ideal for live files in offices. 8

At Link51 we understand that no situation is the same, there are many considerations, the building; the room itself, air conditions, health and safety, picking rates but, most importantly, the product. The Link51 range of shelving products can cater for a wide range of heavier weight and more unusual shaped items. All shelving products are designed to allow hand placement and picking. Longspan shelving, also referred to as Widespan, is one of Link51 s leading systems for hand loaded storage of heavy or large items. Providing long, uninterrupted bays of shelving between frames, Longspan shelving is ideal for commercial, industrial and wholesale environments. 10

11 To take full advantage of the height in a room Link51 offer tiered storage systems consisting of walkways suspended within the shelving structure and accessed by stairways and lifts. Tiered structures can accommodate up to 4 levels of shelving. Euro shelving is designed for more robust, heavier duty shelving applications where additional height and the use of mechanical access equipment are required. Picture racking storage doesn t just cater for paintings, anything that needs storing upright and securely can be stored within the system. Link51 offer two options, either mounted onto mobile bases to maximise the available space in the area or conventional pull out picture racking suspended from runners above. 11
