2 The SMT Pick & Place Machines of BS387-series were especially designed for small volume and sample production with wide range of different feeders. Various models are provided for different applications. Two different models are available, which distinguish between their placement speeds. BS387 is fully compatible with AUTOTRONIK Pick & Place series and all the feeders are interchangeable. Due to this fact, most reliability and easy maintenance for all models is guaranteed. Preloaded Ball Screws with Closed Loop Servo motor system provides high repeatability and stability. Additionally, the BS387 series feature COGNEX vision processing and head mounted for non-contact Vision on the Fly alignment. Smart Tape Feeders High-Precision Design, Built-In Memory Modules, For the Most Advanced and Reliable Tape Feeder Operation COMPLETED with some of the most useful and innovative features in the industry, Autotronik Smart Tape Feeders are setting a new standard for accurate, dependable, and economical surface mount component presentation. A new slim-profile design maximizes the number of feeders that can be mounted in the space available on the pick and place machine and provides ultra-smooth, electronic actuation and tape advance. Each individual Autotronik Smart Tape Feeder has a DB-9 interface connector on its front end and, in seconds, easily plugs in to either the 48-port FR-48K or 32-port FR-32K Smart Feeder Bases on BS Series pick and place systems. This interface allows communication between the Autotronik Smart Feeder Control Software and the memory module built into each Smart Feeder. The memory module stores a unique ID number that links feeder hardware with assigned feeder position data, component data, and even tape indexing data. Autotronik Smart Feeders are available for 8 mm to 72 mm tape widths and feature programmable tape index settings from 2mm (for 0201 and 0402 s) up to 36 mm. Optional Bar Code Reader for component data entry and verification isprior to assembly.

COGNEX Alignment System "Vision on the Fly" The innovative design of KFTA feeder bases and mounting hardware allows almost limitless flexibility in feeder combinations and arrangement schemes, as almost every feeder can be ordered, loaded, programmed and mounted independently. KFTAs are available from 8 mm up to 72 mm tape width. The BS387-series feature COGNEX vision processing and head-mounted for non-contact Vision on the Fly alignment. The machine BS387 assures high-precision placement of the full range of SMDs, from the smallest 0201 devices through CSPs, μbgas, flip-chips, ultra-fine-pitch QFPs, even odd-form components. Feeder Rack (KR-32K, FR-48K) FR-32K is suitable for 32 x 8 mm KFTA Feeders or for 30 x 8 mm IC-Sticks (1x KFTB-2 / 1x KFTB-4).Included in delivery are 2x FR-48K, each is suitable for 48 x 8 mm KFTA Feeders or 40 x 8 mm IC-Sticks. Conveyor System Bottom Vision Alignment System The conveyor system with SMEMA Interface and automatic width control speeds up the handling of PCB and in-line production. Universal IC Tube Feeder A Bottom Vision Camera is used for large components up to 150 x 100mm and devices with alignment features on their bottom side. Dispenser System Optional stand alone dispenser head for adhesive & solder paste dispensing. Perfect for quick, small volume production without making stencil. Smart Fiducial System Besides the standard fiducial mark, either square SMD PCB pad or plate-through hole also can be trained as fiducial mark. Universal CAD Conversion Beside the direct input of data by teach-in camera, an optional CAD conversion program for directly transfer of CAD generated pick and place data is available. KFTB universal tube feeder combines vibration and belt driven technique. It is able to handle IC-Sticks with max. 50 mm width. Autotronik Smart Stick Feeders were designed in response to these issues, resulting in the industry's most flexible, reliable, and cost-effective solution for presentation of SMDs packaged in sticks or tubes. Smart Stick Feeders The model KFTB-2 accepts up to 10 tubes of variable width, while the KFTB-4 can handle up to 20 tubes. Both models utilize a set of DB-9 interface connectors on their front end and easily mount to either the 48-port FR-48K or 32-port FR- 32K Smart Feeder Bases on BS Series Pick and Place Systems. Smart Stick Feeders can be positioned directly adjacent to Autotronik Smart Tape Feeders and, like the tape feeders, utilize the interface connection for communication between the BS Control Software and the memory modules built into the Smart Stick Feeders. The memory modules store a unique ID numbers that link the individual lanes of the feeder hardware with assigned feeder position data, component data, belt indexing increments, and even on/off time control settings for the vibratory/gravity feed portion of the feeder. 8 High Precision Dispenser System Dispensing Systems for Automation with Advanced-Time-Pressure Technology EVERYTHING about dispensing that has been valued in terms of precision and consistency. Autotronik High Precision Dispenser System was designed to concentrate on the essentials, which is cost effective and simple to maintain. High Precision Dispenser System Super fast valves and clever control firmware ensure perfectly controlled dispensing processes. With this elaborate technology and little need for cleaning of the dispensing head, the unit can be used much more effectively. This does not only apply to conventional dot sizes, but also for any sort of microdot, down to a diameter of 0.15 mm. This innovative holder also prevents the waste of components in sections of tape that are too short to be loaded into tape feeders. To facilitate the efficiency, each lane of the Cut Strip Tape holder can be ordered, loaded, and programmed independently. Autotronik Cut Strip Tape Holders are available for 8mm,12mm, 16mm and 24mm tapes width. Other sizes are available upon special request. Cut Strip Tape Holders Stand for Single Cut Strip Tape Holder Accessory The TS-CST-STAND-01 is designed to hold a single CST Cut Strip Tape Holder within the work area of any BS Series Pick and Place System. SMBMA Compatible Designed for standard and large board inspection Autotronik inline conveyor stage provides a large working space for inspection, post-assembly process. It accepts the boards sized 35 to 390mm in width, and up to 820mm in length. Inspection Process facilitated by SMEMA technology The board enters the conveyor from the previous machine and is conveyed to the inspection area. If there is already a board for inspection, it will stop at the entrance of the conveyor. Once the board is inspected the operator could press the button to release it into the next machine. If the next machine is not ready to take another board it will wait until the following machine gives the signal that it is ready for the board. If no inspection is required the conveyor will just act as a buffer conveyor.
