2 Cargo Apron Management Monitor and store the special cargoes on the table at the apron and area Follow up the coming & going of the cargoes in the hold, which come with e- mail or verbal information Ensure that the cold stores at the storage area are used in compliance with the stowage rules Ensure that the doors and tarpaulins of the AKE-AKH containers placed into cabinet are opened Check inside the cabinet with both AWB and ULD numbers Give priority to remaining perishable cargoes in transferring to warehouses and cabinets Perform check-in and control of the special storage areas thrice a day

3 Cargo Apron Management Inform, by or verbally, that the cargoes have been placed on the tables if the cabinets are full Ensure that the temperature adjustment of the cabinets remains within the desired range Inform the relevant departments when special cargoes are detected during the check-in made in the Yankee zone Inform the CRR team so that the reservation is made quickly for the remaining special cargoes Check the tilted pallets and damaged ULDs delivered closed Correct the problems arising during loading such as NOTOC, wrong preparation, etc., which can be corrected in the hold Prevent the QRT short connections from being missed Prevent the special cargoes from being left at the apron

4 İstanbul Cargo Management Ensure that the operational orders are placed (optional dry ice, styrofoam, dog cage, etc.) Check the special cargo rooms and cabinets, check the remaining cargoes and make their reservations Revise the list of special cargoes coming in and out on the terminal system for each shift Ensure that the personnel carrying out the check-in process place the special cargoes in appropriate areas urgently, and place the cargoes not stored in appropriate areas in the appropriate storing areas Ensure that the live animal shipments delivered are placed in the live animal room without being kept waiting in the hold Repair the damaged cargoes, if they are reparable, investigate the damage to cargoes, and obtain the damage report of the damaged cargoes Make contact with and receive information from the non-offload team about whether the important cargoes that must be tracked have gone in the relevant aircraft

Detect, report and take corrective actions for non-conforming labeling, packaging, carrying, etc. Ensure that the live animal, HUM, cornea, perishable cargoes, and valuable cargoes we have detected previously are sent without being offloaded by sharing the place information of the same with the personnel preparing the aircraft preparation cards Pay attention to special cargoes during preparation (prevent heavy cargoes from being placed on fish packaged in Styrofoam or barrels, etc.) Ensure that the special operations like thermal cover, At stall, VCB Box and Envirotainer are completed appropriately Perform check-in and control of the special storage areas thrice a day Carry out the special cargo processes such as adding dry ice, battery to the cargo, changing the cage, etc. on demand Make contact and coordination with the civil aviation authorities, producer firms, all internal-external service and input providers, and the other necessary institutions and organizations directly related to special cargo safety, when necessary

6 Special Cargo Management Regulation and Standards Check on demand that the live animal shipments conform with the aircraft types Evaluate the customers' requests for special equipments (Thermal blanket, Envirotainer, VCB Box, etc.) used to carry special cargoes Enter the country embargoes against the special cargoes into the system Give information on transportability of the MSDS form Give information on transportability of the cargoes

7 Special Cargo Management Regulation and Standards Answer the international stations' questions relating to special cargoes (is there any restriction on the consignment at the destination station; is it permitted to be carried, etc.) Prepare Datalogger analysis, CAPA report upon request Update and monitor the special cargo acceptance tables of the stations Update and monitor the special cargo storage areas file of the stations Evaluate the special-cargo-related parts of the bulletins such as IATA, IOSA etc., and set the rules Determine and update the special cargo emergency procedures Prepare and revise the special-cargo-related procedures, instructions and checklists, and ensure that the same are published

8 Special Cargo Management Regulation and Standards Ensure and follow up the delivery of the IATA special cargo regulations to the relevant management so that they are tracked continuously, implemented by the company, and that the points required to be known are published across the company Ensure that supplementary articles to be published by IATA in relation to special cargoes within the year are followed, archived and announced to the cargo organization Obtain the documents needed by the international stations to receive permit, certificate, authorization certificate from airport, customs or the other relevant authorities in relation to special cargoes, send such documents to the relevant station, and ensure their follow-up Obtain, renew and follow up the certificates and licenses that are mandatory for the stations to transport dangerous goods and the other special cargoes

9 Special Cargo Management Product Development and Marketing Conduct special cargoes regional sales/agency/market/competition analysis periodically by using the WorldACD, CargoIS and DWH data to support the sales-marketing team in our regions related to special cargoes Give special cargo annual sales targets based on the origin-destination so as to cover our destination points, and monitor the station performances on a monthly basis Prepare sales development plans to support the regional sales-marketing team in relation to special cargoes Prepare marketing presentations on the special cargo processes, features of our facilities and the applications carried out to support the regional salesmarketing team in relation to special cargoes Make origin-destination-based rate analyses in relation to special cargoes on monthly basis Analyze the rivals within the framework of the cargo product development works

10 Special Cargo Management Product Development and Marketing Determine the requirements of cargo products, and define new products Position the cargo products in the market, and set their prices Perform market researches and customer visits within the framework of product development works Carry out the preliminary works for commercialization of the cargo products (brand, name, advertisement) Make in-house publications and announcements on cargo products, and organize activities to inform our employees on the cargo products Develop the suggestions to improve the commercial and operational processes within the scope of business development, and evaluate and analyze the feasibility of the suggestions made by the operation

11 Cargo Operations Control Management Inform the offload cargoes to the field team for tracking purpose Forward the pre-alert messages to operation field team (in order to have the cargoes placed in the right cabinet, etc.) Ensure tracking of the lost documents and lost cargoes Ensure correction of the erroneous DGR documents Provide the customer with information on sending of the cargo Have dry ice added to the cargo upon request Track the cargoes to be destroyed

12 Cargo Operations Development Management Warn the stations about the irregularities arising from the departure station (detection of the irregularity, root cause analysis, the actions to be taken, etc.) Conduct root cause analysis based on the operation feedbacks in relation to the special cargo irregularities Ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive activity changes in relation to special cargoes Make coordination with Training Directorate to increase the technical knowledge and skills of the cargo organization on special cargoes, and inform the same to the relevant departments
