Let s start KAIZEN with CREFORM AGV. CREFORM AGV supports to solve the problems of your work place and realize lean manufacturing. CREFORM AGV OVERVIEW AGV AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLE For KAIZEN a continuous improvement process Table of contents Why AGV?...2 Various purposes of use...3 CREFORM AGV Line-up...4 Application and layout...5 Customization showcase...6 CREFORM network...8 Move it! Move it! AGV is a driverless transport device. However, an AGV can not only bring materials, but it has also many other possibilities. Here we introduce an AGV world full of great potential. 2 Why AGV? AGV is a cart that follows a defined path for transportation as a tool for material handling and factory automation. Towing type in train style Multiple cart transportation, use of existing carts Maximum efficiency of load capacity, reliable combination with other devices e.g. conveyor Towing type in crawler style Direct loading type Heavy labour Functional flexibility and space saving by replacing tow-cart depending on situation Many transportation tasks for workers Risk of serious traffic accident, human error High stacking = unsafe, no FIFO principle Large space only for temporary storage Unmanaged WIP, intermediate inventory Unstable supply timing * WIP = Work In Process, FIFO = First In First Out Before Reduction of physical hard work After Avoidance of serious accidents and errors No stacking = Safety, tidy and FIFO principle Reduction of temporary storage space Establishment of One-piece-flow, WIP control Reduction of lineside structures = shortening production line length and lead time Intermittent operation, partial speed change of line, stable supply at certain time interval 2 CREFORM Technik GmbH Wolfsburger Str. 10 D Baunatal Tel. +49 (0) Fax +49 (0) info@creform.de

Mobile Assembly Line >> Assembly on AGV moving with ultra low speed Typical process: Automotive engine/suspension/instrument panel sub-line, electronic appliance/copier assembly line A to B Transfer >> Most simple and powerful way of AGV application Typical process: all Various Purposes of Use Buffer Control Application >> Adjusting speed, waiting time and number of AGV between processes to control WIP and takt time Typical process: Cooling interval of casting process, drying interval of painting process, processes with duration difference Synchro-Line >> Synchronized with moving assembly line Typical process: Automotive interior assembly process at main-line AGVs can not only move materials but also bring us many possibilities. 4 CREFORM AGV Line-up Adding to this standard line-up, we offer further various AGVs according to individual circumstances including heavy duty model. Please feel free to contact a CREFORM sales representative. Standard Crawler AGV is a well-balanced model that can be used in variety of applications by replacing trolley. Best Budget AGV is a budget model for all users from entry level to experienced users, with essential functions and reasonable price. High Speed AGV CREFORM AGV Kit is the high-end model with top speed 70m/min powerful motor. allows you to create your self-designed AGV with ease. Combination with CREFORM system will maximize design flexibility and quick adaptability to change. ikame AGV compact body with various options for customisation. VIPER AGV s low-profile super flat design enables the change of existing carts & dollies into good AGV solutions. 4 CREFORM Technik GmbH Wolfsburger Str. 10 D Baunatal Tel. +49 (0) Fax +49 (0) info@creform.de

Crawler AGV delivers kitcart from Supermarket to Main assembly line in a circular loop, which allows many AGVs to travel on one route at the same time. In a routine, AGV travels alongside assembly line and returns back with empty cart. Assembly line Passage Kitting area Downstream process Upstream process Passage Forward drive towing type single AGV repeats travel between processes through narrow pathway to deliver to assembly. At each end, AGV loops around to return. Application and Layout Main line Sub line Case study: Mobile assembly implementation Two looping routes 1. Material supply to Sub line 2. Sub assembly on AGV + Assembly supply to Main line Before Main line Removal of conveyor Free passage, space saving, layout flexibility, area without division Driverless transportation Less injuries, accidents and human errors Unfixed assembly base Assembly from all directions, quick adoption to production line change After Sub line Supply from Supermarket CREFORM Technik GmbH Wolfsburger Str. 10 D Baunatal Tel. +49 (0) Fax +49 (0) info@creform.de 5

Customization Showcase Picking Cart Train AGV AGV supplys parts collected in picking area to the line. By connecting and towing multiple carts, it can deliver many parts boxes at once. If the connection is removed, tow-carts of train can be used manually as a regular picking cart. Karakuri Transfer Bidirectional AGV Forward and reverse driving enables front transfer of boxes. It is also effective in space saving as switching back does not require extra space for turning back. And Karakuri transfer with gravity rollers is useful to save labour and cost. Crawler Style Door Panel Delivery AGV By replacing tow-cart, one AGV can be adopted to many processes. This can be advantage in terms of securing number of spares and operation training. By modification for accepting AGV underneath, existing carts, dollies and trollies also can be diverted to tow-cart for AGV. 6 CREFORM Technik GmbH Wolfsburger Str. 10 D Baunatal Tel. +49 (0) Fax +49 (0) info@creform.de

Full enlarged operability Forward and reverse driving AGV with motor drive conveyor for transfer of work, HMI connected to traffic controller with wi-fi and automatic charging. HMI (Human Machine Interface) Automatic Lifter Integration AGV with scissor lift table and rotary plate for mobile assembly with automatic elevation adjustment by RFID. Four-directional Cockpit Assembly AGV Designed for carrier assembly of cockpit installation into car body. Side transfer conveyor AGV Conveyor AGV with motor drive conveyor for side transfer of pallets. Bidirectional Round AGV This special cylindrical-shaped AGV has a transparent cover with one side opening for loading/unloading. It goes and returns holding the same posture and the inside conveyor works as a turntable to control the workpiece direction independently.
