1 AudienceView Hw-T Guide: Hw t run a Digital Snapsht? What is a Digital Snapsht? A Digital Snapsht prvides quick insights int yur audience segment by highlighting key nline behaviural characteristics including: Tp Industries Tp Sub-Industries Tp Websites Tp Searches Device breakdwn In rder t run a Digital Snapsht, yu must have previusly created a segment. If yu want help building a segment, refer t ur Hw t create a segment guide?. Running a Digital Snapsht Frm the AudienceView hmepage, click Create and select Digital Snapsht. In the text bx at the tp f the page, enter a title fr yur reprt. The editing panel displays, shwing the fllwing: Reprting Perid - The default is the mst recent 4 weeks. Nte: the maximum perid t run a Digital Snapsht is 24 weeks. Target Audience - The audience segment yu want t be the subject f the reprt. Base Audience - The default base is the ttal ppulatin labeled as AV Standard Online Ppulatin.

2 Once yu are happy with yur reprt settings click Generate. Yu have the ptin t wait fr the reprt t display in the results panel r click thrugh t the List Manager. The results will lad, shwing the attributes f yur chsen audience. Reading the Industry Analysis reprt The Industry Analysis reprt prvides a quick snapsht f the tp Industries and Sub-Industries the target audience visits mst frequently and is mst ver-indexed fr. Ttal Visits Highest Index: Based n Ttal Visits, the target audience is 54% mre likely than the base audience (the default is the nline ppulatin) t visit the Business and Finance Industry. They are als 7.5x mre likely t visit the Superannuatin Sub-Industry fr the reprting perid. Largest Prjected: The target audience visited websites within the Cmputers and Internet Industry 24,333,012 times. Highest Index and Largest Prjected: Defined as the Industry and Sub Industry with the largest number f visits with an index greater than r equal t 114.

3 Unique Users Highest Index: Based n Unique Users, the target audience is 3% mre likely than the base audience t visit the Aviatin Industry and 9.6x mre likely t visit the Superannuatin Sub- Industry. Largest Prjected: 72,635 Unique Users in the target audience visited websites within the Cmputers and Internet industry. Highest Index and Largest Prjected: Defined as the Industry and Sub Industry with the largest prjected visits (peple) with an index greater than r equal t 114. Reading the Website Analysis Reprt The table n the left displays the tp websites visited by the target audience, ranked by the Index, versus the base Audience (default Online Ppulatin). Yu can re-srt the results by Ttal Visits r Unique Users, depending n what tab yu re viewing, by clicking n the clumn header. The metric selected will dictate what yu re viewing. Yu can chse t visualise the data in the table as a bubble diagram r a Wrdle by either vlume (visits) r index. If yu wuld like t exprt the graphic, click n the icn in the upper right-hand crner f the graphic and select ne f the dwnlad ptins.

4 Ttal Visits: Ggle AU was the tp website visited by the target audience, based n the ttal number f visits, receiving 8,322,614 visits. The target audience was 4% less likely than the base audience t visit the site. The mst ver-indexed site was SEEK. Unique Users: Based n peple Ggle AU was als the tp website visited by the target audience, with 70,721 Unique Users visiting. The target audience was 11% mre likely than the base audience t visit Ggle AU. Hwever, the mst ver-indexed site fr peple in this audience was the ATO.gv.au. Reading the Search Analysis Reprt The Search Analysis card prvides tw reprt types that give high-level insight int the search behavir f yur target audience: Messaging Analysis Cmpetitin Analysis

5 Messaging Analysis The Messaging Analysis reprt displays the tp terms searched by the target audience in the given reprting perid, alngside each term s share f ttal searches and hw each search indexes against the base audience.. The table n the left defaults t srting by Search Share. Yu can re-srt the table by Index by clicking n the Index clumn header. The visualisatin n the right displays the infrmatin in Bubble frm. Yu can chse t display this by Share r Index by using the tggle in the bttm right-hand crner. Yu can als chse t display this as a Wrdle. If yu wuld like t exprt the graphic, click n the icn in the upper right-hand crner f the graphic and select ne f the dwnlad ptins.

6 Cmpetitin Analysis The Cmpetitin Analysis reprt displays the fllwing: Paid Rate table: The industry, sub-industry and website receiving the highest paid rate f traffic frm the target audience. The industry with the highest paid rate f traffic frm the target audience was Aviatin. Out f all search clicks t the Aviatin Industry, 17.54% f thse clicks were paid. The remaining 82.46% were rganic. Pie Graph: The ttal paid vs. rganic click rate f the target audience. Out f all Search Clicks made by the target audience in the reprting perid, 3.2% f thse clicks were paid and the remaining 96.8% were rganic. Highest Paid Share table: The industry, sub-industry and website receiving the greatest paid share f traffic frm the target audience. Out f all industries, the Shpping and Classifieds industry received the greatest share f all paid clicks (32.0%). The remaining 68.0% went t ther industries. The reprt can be exprted by clicking n the icn n the upper-right hand side f the piechart, and selecting ne f the dwnlad ptins.

7 Reading the Device Analysis reprt The Device Analysis reprt allws yu t understand bth the percentage and ttal number f yur target audience perfrming their nline behaviur via Desktp / Laptp r Smartphne / Tablet. Yu can chse t display this by Ttal Visits r Unique Users by clicking the metrics bx at the tp f the reprt. Ttal Visits 76.9% (51.3M) f the Ttal Visits made by the target audience were via a Desktp / Laptp 23.1% (15.4M) f the Ttal Visits were via a Smartphne / Tablet Unique Users 83.0% (72.6K) f Unique Users (peple) in the target audience used a Desktp/Laptp when visiting websites. 17.0% (14.9K) f Unique Users (peple) used a smartphne/ tablet when visiting websites.

8 Editing the Digital Snapsht results T change the time perid, target and/r base audience n an existing Digital Snapsht, click n the Edit buttn n the tp right f the reprt. Once edited, yu can chse t rename yur reprt r save with the current name. Frm the upper right crner f the page, click Generate.
