2 This Addendum 1 is issued to answer the following questions and to clarify the bid sent to you on June 6, 2014 and to extend the bid deadline. Bid deadline is EXTENDED until June 30, 2014 at 3:00 pm. All other terms and conditions of the original bid remain unchanged. It is NOT NECESSARY TO RETURN this Addendum 1 together with your bid submission. Question 1: On the Pricing Schedule, what is Item No. 5? Answer: Item No. 5 is for the delivery charge only on materials ordered on emergency. Question 2: How much is the performance bond for this contract? Answer: There is no performance bond required for this bid. Question 3: On the Price Schedule, what is extended price? Answer: Extended price is the total price per line when you multiply the line s quantity by its unit price. Question 4: Can you please send us the complete specifications for: a. Item C. Lawn and Garden Soil and b. Item D. Washed Silica sand Answer: Please see below specifications clarification. Clarifications on the Specifications provided on the original bid document are as follows. 1. ADD the following clarification from the SAWS Standard Specifications for Construction, Item No. 804, to the end of Specifications, Item 3.a. on Page 13: 2. REPLACE the last sentence of Specifications, Item 3.c. on Page 13 with the following: All Lawn and Garden Soil mixture furnished under this specification shall meet the minimum requirements of City of San Antonio Standard Specifications for Construction June 2008, or latest version, Item 515, Topsoil. 3.
