LIST NOW When you list with Feed Central, your product is marketed in partnership with you locally and nationwide via Personal Marketing Feed Central has a team of sales people in regular and personal contact with buyers. This team is fully trained and are specialist hay marketers... It s what we do! As the grower, you are encouraged to use our Quality Certificate to sell the hay privately and register the contract with us for full execution. We then you a detailed Quality Certificate for each lot of hay inspected, which is also displayed on the Feed Central website. This gives you and Feed Central the information needed to sell your hay. In fact, this is a partnership program between you and Feed Central with the goal of selling your hay fast and at the best possible price. Through our system we encourage you to sell privately as the opportunity arises. If you do sell your hay privately you simply register the deal with Feed Central via phone and we take care of the contract and freight. This process gives you peace of mind and guaranteed payment. 2 Feed Central s 12 Step Process Outlined below are the proven steps that work to sell your hay List List your product online via or fill in the accompanying form and return it to us, or simply call us. Once the form is completed and returned, our sales team may identify potential open or forward orders for your product, depending on the Listing Service. Local Contact After listing, your Feed Central Representative will contact you to discuss your chosen Listing Service, your sell price, and answer any questions you may have. Quality Assurance Services Feed Central s Quality Assurance Services are a critical component of selling hay with Feed Central. It is this quality system that differentiates your product in a competitive marketplace. As a Seller your Listing Service choices are: OR PLATINUM SERVICE A Feed Central accredited inspector visits your farm to perform a comprehensive product assessment, including taking feed samples for Feed Testing. Product is exclusively visible to the Feed Central Sales Team for 21 days from inspection. After this time, your product and contact details are displayed via the Feed Central website to registered Feed Central buyers. EXPRESS PLUS The grower takes and submits samples to Feed Central s Regional Quality Assurance Centre which assesses and documents visual quality and completes the Feed Test. This the ideal service for growers who are outside our normal inspection region of the East Coast / SA Cropping Belt. Product is exclusively visible to Feed Central Sales Team for 21 days from inspection. After this time, your product and contact details are displayed via the Feed Central website to registered Feed Central buyers. (Option to upgrade to Platinum Service available) Scientific Analysis The sample is analysed at the Feed Central Quality Assurance Centre. This completes the Feed Testing where 40 Rapid NIR results are determined (including energies, fibres, proteins and minerals). Feed Testing is backed by Dairy One, the world s largest Feed Testing Laboratory (USA). The Quality Certificate The results of the visual assessment and Feed Testing are combined into the Feed Central Quality Certificate - a recognised certificate that can be used to help you market your product, or give buyers in-depth knowledge of a product that they cannot inspect themselves. You will receive your Quality Certificate shortly after the inspection process has been completed. This combination keeps the marketing partnership working hard to sell your product. Mailing Lists - we proactively market to our database of thousands of buyers. Personal Marketing - Our large sales team are visiting and phoning buyers all the time.

Transport Feed Central organises all trucks using certified and trained transport contractors, moving product 24/7. Under some circumstances, sellers can use their own trucks talk to us. Feedback & Follow-up The Feed Central Sales Team contacts buyers to determine customer satisfaction with hay and pass feedback to growers. In the unlikely event of any Contract or Quality disputes, Feed Central will be there to assist. National Hay Quality Competition The design of the competition aims to promote quality hay production and allows growers and contractors to benchmark the quality of their hay against others. State and National Awards for Best Visual Appearance and Best Feed Test Analysis attributes. Who can enter Announcement Every line of hay that is inspected and sampled on-farm by a certified Feed Central Inspector will be automatically entered into this competition. Entry can come from either the grower or the contractor (with the grower s consent). QLD winners will be announced at a Feed Central event in QLD in September and SA, NSW and VIC winners will be announced at a Feed Central event in Shepparton (VIC). All participants will receive an invitation to attend. Awards The Quality Assurance System State and National awards presented on Best Visual Appearance and Best Feed Test Analysis will be presented for Lucerne, Cereal and Vetch hay. Awards will also be presented to the contractors (where appropriate). All hay entered into the competition will go through Feed Central s Quality Assurance System (On-Farm Certified Inspector Service). Contracts Formal contracts completed and managed by Feed Central. Volume Minimum order - One full semi-trailer load. Freight We are moving product 24/7, managing it all the way! Payment Guaranteed Feed Central collects payment from buyers and guarantees payment to sellers. FEES & CHARGES Listing Fee Feed Testing Contract Execution Fee Rebate Listing Fee includes: Quality Assurance Preparation & Certification (including on-farm inspection) and Website Listing. * Multiple Lots: 2nd and subsequent lots inspected on the same farm and on the same day are charged at $200 +GST per lot for Platinum Service only. All fees are payable by credit card on completion of Feed Test. 6 The Feed Central selling system is a premium quality assurance and marketing system for both buyers and sellers. It is very important that the integrity of the system is maintained, therefore as a seller / consigner it is important that you understand and agree to the following terms and conditions. FOR SUPPLIERS OF HAY, STRAW AND SILAGE 1.0 Prior to inspection I have: 1.1_ Read_and_understood_Feed_Central s_brochure_entitled_marketing Partnerships for Hay 1.2_ Chosen_the_Feed_Central_Quality_Assurance_Service_I_wish_to_utilise_for_my_ listed_product; 1.3_ Read,_understood,_completed_and_signed_this_form; 1.4_ Clarified_any_issues_with_my_local_Field_Representative_or_Feed_Central_ branch. 2.0 Regarding Quality Assurance Services and inspection actions, I understand that: 2.1_ Feed_Central_only_uses_testing_results_from_a_Feed_Central_/_Dairy_One_ Laboratory; 2.2_ Depending_on_the_chosen_Quality_Assurance_Service,_I_may_be_required_ to_provide_product_related_information_and_samples,_as_per_feed_central_ standards_and_selected_service_level; 2.3_ Feed_Central_inspects_the_hay_in_good_faith_and_Feed_Central_cannot_control_ all_conditions_or_predict_all_variables_and_therefore,_by_agreeing_to_engage_ Feed_Central_to_inspect_the_product,_I_also_agree_not_to_hold_Feed_Central_ liable_for_any_quality,_fire_or_other_claim_over_the_product. At the time of inspection, I agree to: 2.4_ Provide_product_related_information_and_samples,_as_per_Feed_Central_ standards_or_as_directed; 2.5_ Where_required,_have_loading_equipment_available_to_lift_hay_bales_for_ weighing_purposes_(the_feed_central_rep_will_bring_scales); 2.6_ Fill_out_commodity_vendor_declaration_(CVD)_and_provide_copy_to Feed_Central; 2.7_ Communicate_and_work_in_conjunction_with_a_Feed_Central_In-Field_Inspector,_ Quality_Assurance_Centre_or_Feed_Central_representative_to_identify_different_ lots,_based_on_feed_central s_quality_and_production_criteria. 3.0 Quality Control (to maintain the integrity of Feed Central s system): 3.1_ Lots_/_product_lines_of_different_quality_attributes_are_not_to_be_combined; 3.2_ I_must_only_ever_load_the_hay_instructed._i.e._absolutely_no_substitution; 3.3_ Only_Feed_Central_appointed_carriers_will_be_able_to_cart_product_sold_through_ Feed_Central_and_will_be_subject_to_carrier_agreements_and_freight_movement_ orders; 3.4_ Within_reason,_where_a_product_requires_a_re-inspection,_it_is_understood_that_ Inspection_charges_may_apply; 3.5_ I_must_contact_Feed_Central_prior_to_sale_and_/_or_prior_to_loading_of_any_ changes_in_quality_since_inspection,_or_obvious_quality_inconsistencies_at_the_ time_of_loading. 4.0 Contracts (A Sale), I understand that: 4.1_ All_sales_are_expected_to_be_registered_through_Feed_Central_(including_ whenever_the_grower_sells_privately); 4.2_ Where_a_sale_of_product_is_executed_through_Feed_Central,_Feed_Central_will_ produce_and_provide_a_written_ Contract_Confirmation_of_Purchase ; 4.3_ Where_Feed_Central_executes_sale_and_contract,_the_7.5%_fee_will_be_ converted_to_a_per_tonne_fee_at_the_time_of_registering_sale; 4.4_ This_contract_is_an_agreement_between_Feed_Central_and_the_owner_of_the_ commodity. 5.0 Loading Equipment: 5.1_ I_have_(or_have_access_to)_a_loader_with_suitable_capacity_to_load_hay_ products_(generally_minimum_85hp,_reach_12ft_and_3_to_5_hay_spears); 5.2_ This_machinery_will_be_available_at_both_the_time_of_any_on-farm_inspection_ and_truck_loading_(post_sale)._where_significant_delays_are_experienced_in_ loading_times,_charges_may_apply.; 5.3_ In_the_case_of_small_bales_I_have_a_mechanical_ small_bale_grab _and_can_load_ a_semi-trailer_to_near_full_capacity_mechanically. 6.0 Payment: 6.1_ Feed_Central_only_guarantees_payments_where_Feed_Central_executes_the_ contract._where_a_grower_sells_the_hay,_feed_central_will_vet_all_buyers_ and_advise_the_seller_in_waiting_if_the_buyer_does_not_satisfy_our_credit_risk_ procedure; 6.2_ When_my_product_is_sold,_Feed_Central_will_create_a_Recipient_Created Tax_Invoice_(RCTI)_that_is_issued_by_the_recipient_of_the_goods_/_services_ rather_than_the_supplier._feed_central_will_deposit_the_proceeds_of_the_sale_ into_my_nominated_bank_account,_less_any_outstanding_fees_and_charges_ that_i_owe_to_feed_central; 6.3_ Payments_are_processed_on_the_Thursday_immediately_following_the 30th_day_from_pick-up._Any_alternate_payment_terms_would_be_agreed_to_ by_the_seller_and_feed_central,_and_noted_in_purchase_contract;_ 6.4_ Payments_are_subject_to_the_provision_of_a_CVD_(Commodity_Vendor_ Declaration)_unless_previous_provider. 7.0 Inspection & Feed Testing Fees: 7.1_ Any_extra_Quality_Assurance_Services_requested_or_agreed_to_would_be_ charged_accordingly; 7.2_ All_Listing_/_Quality_Service_fees_are_to_be_paid_by_credit_card_at_time_of_ listing_or_post_inspection_and_feed_test_results; 7.3_ Where_90%_of_the_Platinum_listing_is_executed_by_Feed_Central,_your_listing_ and_quality_services_fee_(excluding_feed_test_fee)_will_be_rebated_to_you. 8.0 General Listing Terms: 8.1_ Feed_Central_does_not_guarantee_to_sell_my_hay_or_commodity; 8.2_ Unless_terminated_prior,_this_agreement_lasts_the_life_of_the_listing_/_product; 8.3_ I_give_permission_for_my_contact_details,_including:_Phone_Number_and_ Location_(or_Nearest_Town)_to_be_displayed_on_the_website_for_registered_/_ partially_vetted_buyers_to_see. This is a genuine partnership between Feed Central and yourself to sell your hay. Below are the key points that are very important to the success of the program. Please confirm: I have read and understood this agreement. I understand that it is my responsibility to register sales with Feed Central and Feed Central will not guarantee payment if the contract is not registered with Feed Central and the buyer is not approved as per 6.0. I have provided credit card details for the service payment As an active consigner / seller, I understand that it is my responsibility to keep my listing up to date in regards to price, volume and availability at all times.
