He is responsible for the greater QPS digital strategy and solutions in the social media and web 2.0 spaces. His team manages the QPS Facebook page, the largest police Facebook page in the world with over 400,000 likes, QLDAlert the whole of government Social Media real time disaster social media information hub and the the mypolice blog network, putting local communities back in contact with their local police across Queensland. Queensland Police Media have won nearly a dozen national and international awards for their response to the 2011 Queensland flood crisis and ongoing use of social media. Nick Rudzki Social Media Manager Defence Force Recruiting Nick is the Social Media Manager for Defence Force Recruiting, which is responsible for recruiting over 7,500 men and women into the Australia Defence Force each year across more than 250 different jobs from rifleman to chaplain. Prior to DFR, Nick was a Regional Account Manager for ManpowerGroup supporting key clients across AsiaPac including NCR, Hewlett-Packard, Fujitsu and Rio Tinto. Nick started his professional career with the South Australian government in a range of communication roles. Before Facebook, recruitment outsourcing and State government, Nick was a tank gunner in the Australian Army. Somehow these experiences combine to make him a pretty good communicator.
