Every client is unique. We will work with you to maximize the potential of your project. Representing and promoting writers, books and the literary arts as a whole. 1 CONSULTATIONS AND BOOK COACHING With years of experience in the publishing industry, we offer personalized one-on-one consulting to support your publishing, publicity and marketing goals. Consults scheduled via phone, skype or in person. Publishing Consultation: Are you thinking of writing a book or have one written and don t know where to begin to get it published? Is Self-publishing or Traditional publishing right for you? This one hour consultation includes discussion on your specific project, offering guidance on best options to publish your work and an understanding of the pros and cons of each. By the end of the consultation, you'll be left with your next steps and the right expectations for your specific project. Publishing Consultation: $100 per hour Let s Get Started Package: For authors with a publishing contract just beginning to build their platform. We will develop a strategy and marketing plan that maximizes your efforts to promote your book. We begin with a client questionnaire to gain insight into the target market and author s strengths and marketing preferences. This consultation includes a 1 hour one-on-one consult and a comprehensive step by step strategic plan report and checklist. Let s get Started Package: $300 Let s Get Started Package PLUS: Includes consultation and four (4) half hour monthly follow-up one-onone consult meetings to keep you going on the right track. 2 Publicity and Marketing Package: For authors with one or more published books. We will help take your marketing and publicity efforts to the next level. We will analyze your current marketing strategy and create a marketing plan that maximizes your efforts. We begin with a client questionnaire to gain insight into your target market, goals, strengths, accomplishments, and marketing preferences. We will provide an analysis of your current plan, marketing material and on-line presence including any sites, blogs and social media and offer guidance and recommendations to develop a meaningful marketing strategy tailored to your needs. Includes a 1 hour one-on-one consultation, a comprehensive step by step strategic plan report and a ½ hour follow-up consult within 30 days. Publicity and Marketing Package: $400 Publicity and Marketing Package PLUS: Includes consultation and four additional 1-hour monthly followup and guidance consultations. Publicity and Marketing Consultation Package: $700 (Save $100) Book Coaching Hourly Services: For published and unpublished authors, writers and publishers, we provide ongoing, as needed direction and assistance on publishing, marketing and publicity. Book coaching hourly rate: $100, no minimum, by appointment, Flexible schedule 2 PRESS KIT Author Bio: We will create an author bio that highlights your brand. Includes a short and long version for use on book covers, book content, press materials, website, and social media. Includes reviewing current bio and book information and interview with client. Word count range: 100 words (short version) and 300 words (long version) Author Bio: $125 Generic Press Release: We will create a press release that highlights your book and brand. Written in AP Style and ready for print. Formatted for accessibility on your website for media and event venues to easily download. Your press release will be easy to update for specific event, just add the details. Includes reviewing current bio, blurbs and book information and interview with client. Word count range: around 500 words. Generic Press Release: $175 Feature Article: We will create a feature article that highlights your book and brand. Written in AP Style and ready for print. Formatted for accessibility on your website for media and event venues to easily download. Feature article will include emphasis on the book you wish to promote most heavily,

3 information about your other book(s) and you as an author, with quotes. Includes reviewing current bio, blurb, and information and interview with client. Word count range: words Feature Article: $ 225 Press kit package: Includes short and long bio, generic press release and feature article. Press Kit Package: $400 (save $125) 3 RESEARCH Author Concept, Query and Historical Research Consultation: For writers needing an understanding of basic concepts for magazine and article publishing. We provide insights into current industry and advice on queries, topics, research libraries and archives, as well as viable contacts and leads on where to publish the author s article(s). Research Coaching and Consulting: $150 an hour Fact Checking: For authors needing fact-checking service of fiction and non-fiction manuscripts. Includes written report. Fact Checking: $150 an hour Image Research: For authors needs images for covers and interior illustrations, we offer services that gather the public domain images, and if images that needed fees, provide guideline for access, cost, etc. Image Research: $150 an hour 4 SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT Facebook Author Page: We will create an author page that highlights your brand and books. Includes initial account set up, custom cover banner, profile and account content and links to maximize sales. You will be simply added as an administrator to the account and begin taught how to begin to post and promote. We provide one-on-one assistance to understand your page to maximize your followers and sales. As a bonus, Blue Cottage Agency will promote through their social media accounts. Facebook Author Page: $150 Facebook Author Page Review and Assistance: We offer one-on-one assistance to guide you in navigating and maximizing the effectiveness of your current author page and posts. We provide content services with timely, relevant posts to promote your book and brand. Let our experts do the work for you. Social media posting: $100 per hour Facebook and Twitter Cover Photo: Need a cover photo that makes your author page or twitter account shine? We will create a custom cover photo to highlight your book and brand. Facebook Cover Photo: $50 Twitter Cover Photo: $50 Requires high resolution file of book cover 5 BOOK LAUNCH EVENT Plan a book launch event to introduce your book to the world. We provide one-on-one guidance to discuss your strategy and create a plan to promote the release of your book. We will discuss location, dates, times, event program, press releases and the best marketing tools to make your launch a success. Book Launch Planning Session: $100 (one hour) Hands-on execution of book launch: $50 per hour plus travel 6 MARKETING MATERIAL Generic Flyer: We will create a generic flyer highlighting your book and brand. Formatted for printing, ing or downloading from your website. Space available on flyer to simply write in time and place details. 8 ½ by 11. Color. Generic Flyer: $75 Printing and mailing available. Not included in price. Event Flyer: We will create custom event flyer for your specific event, book signing, book talk or launch. Formatted for printing, ing or downloading from your website. We will keep your design on file and create additional event flyers with existing design with updated time and location information. 8 ½ by 11. Color.

Book Cover Sign: We will create, print and mail a custom book cover sign. Approximately 12 x 18 inches. Printed, laminated and mounted on foam board. Book Cover Sign: $50 Includes, printing and postage Author must provide high resolution book cover file Postcard Design: We will create a custom postcard design to promote your book and brand. Chose a postcard design for your specific book launch or event, or a generic design for a variety of uses. Printing and mailing services available. Postcard Design: $75. Marketing Material Package: Includes Generic Flyer Design and formatted file, Event Flyer Design and formatted file, Postcard Design formatted for printing, Book Cover Sign printed and mailed Marketing Material Package: $225 (Save $50) 7 AUTHOR WEBSITES Your Website is the most critical component of your publicity and marketing efforts. Your website is your vehicle to generate and expand your fan base, increase sales, announce events, make industry connections and amplify opportunities. Author Website Consultation: We provide an in-depth analysis on your current site, providing suggestions for improvements for building the best possible platform for long-term audience growth and sales. We begin by sending an author questionnaire to gain insight into your goals and objectives and information about your site. We will complete an analysis report and provide a one hour one-onone consultation to discuss the recommendations and report. Author Website Consultation: $150 Author Websites: We work with MidState Design to create an affordable, professional high quality website with proven results. Our websites are built using WordPress and include customizable content

6 with no coding needed, premium theme and plugins, amazing social features, expert marketing and content advice, hosting, updates, tutorials and so much more. Basic Author Website: Starting at $1400 Includes website creation, 5 Pages: Home, About, Book, Press, Contact and a blog Monthly hosting and maintenance extra. Pricing may vary.
