4 PART 2 - THE PARTY Note to candidate: this question has three parts; a plan, a draft and a final piece of writing. The party is a great success; Sita is very surprised and happy to see all her friends. There is a huge cake, but unfortunately you run out of food and drink so some friends have to go to a nearby supermarket. Amal's music gets everyone dancing: it is so loud that the neighbours come to complain, but they end up joining in. One of your friends, Adana, is unable to come to the party because she is ill. Afterwards, you decide to write to Adana to tell her all about the party. Your final letter should be no more than 150 words. You could write about: how you organised the party the people you invited how Sita reacted what food and drink you had what the music was like anything funny or interesting that happened Plan your writing here. You can use a diagram or rough notes for your plan. PLAN L1 Writing Revised 2009/2010 Practice Set 1 2
