2 TDCCOL TRIBAL DEVELOPMENT CO-OPERATIVE CORPORATION OF ORISSA LTD Tel / Fax admin@tdccorissa.org, website: Tribal Development Co-operative Corporation of Odisha Limited (TDCCOL) is a State level Apex Cooperative operational under the administrative control of ST & SC Development Department, Govt of Odisha since This Apex Cooperative was established with an major objective to procure Minor Forest Produce (MFP) and Surplus Agricultural Produce (SAP) collected by tribal farmers / primary collectors at remunerative/minimum support price and arrange marketing of these products. Activities of TDCCOL: 1. Procurement of minor forest produces under MSP scheme: TDCCOL Odisha has been nominated as State Procurement Agency (SPA) for implementation of Minimum Support Price for 23 Minor Forest Produces. 2. Marketing Support of MFP not covered under MSP: TDCCOL also facilitates the tribal communities for marketing of Minor Forest Produces, which are not covered under the MSP Scheme. 3. Marketing Support for Surplus Agricultural Produces: TDCCOL also procures Surplus Agricultural Produces form the primary collectors / farmers at grassroot level by paying remunerative price. After procurement the procured items are processed and after packaging and branding are sold through its outlets. 4. Providing market linkage to ensure remunerative price to the tribal artisans: TDCCOL is supporting the tribal artisans associated with dokhra craft, wood craft, horn craft, tribal jewelleries, paintings, Lac etc. for training after which the products developed by them is sold through the tribal world retail outlets. 5. Participation in different exhibitions: TDCCOL also participates and promotes selling of tribal products through participation in different exhibitions in the state and national level.

3 6. Procurement of Paddy: TDCCOL is one of the state procuring agencies in Odisha for procurement of paddy. 7. Procurement of Millets: TDCCOL has been declared as the state procuring agencies for procurement of Ragi in KMS TDCCOL is expanding its operation overseas. To take up the above operations, TDCCOL invites application for the post of Manager (Marketing) & Retail Manager. Managing Director, TDCCOL reserves the right of accepting or rejecting any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof. The engagement is temporary, for one contractual year. It may renew basing on satisfactory performance. The qualification and other details are as below:

4 TOR OF Manager (Marketing) & Retail Manager, TDCCOL. Manager (Marketing) Qualification: MBA /PGDBM with specialization in Marketing from recognized University /Institute of repute. Experience 1. Should have minimum experience of 5 years as Manager (Marketing) in any Govt. /PSU Corporation. 2. Should have minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the field of marketing of NTFP/Surplus Agriculture Produce/Handloom/Handicrafts/ Tribal Products in Govt./PSU Corporation. 3. Have experience in handling/ implementing full cycle end to end Govt. project (s) on MFP/ SAP. 4. Should have experience in the Fair Average Quality of different MFP and SAP traded in the State. 5. Upper age limit 40 years. Job Description: 1. To asses and analyze the crop condition of different SAP & MFP and asses the field situations with respect to the market scenario with respect to forest/tribal/rural/shg products. 2. To implement various schemes of State Govt. as well as GoI and its monitoring and reporting. 3. To suggest area & cluster based options for income generating activities for forest dependents/dwellers. 4. To asses and analyze the field situations with respect to resources i.e. natural, human, social, physical, and financial along with current and potential market demand in the context of existing and potential forest/tribal/rural/shg /NTFP/SAP products. 5. To explore possibilities in market linkage in liasioning with local & outside market/traders and also keep liasioning with other Govt. agencies like TRIFED, OLM, NAFED, MARKFED, Export Promoting Agencies. 6. To draft and conduct the tenders relating to sale and purchase of different products. 7. To promote brand value of tribal products, ensure participation in various exhibitions etc.

5 8. Field visits to carry out comprehensive value chain analysis of these key commodities/options. 9. Assessing and analyzing field level situations with respect to livelihoods improvement 10. Develop cluster level mapping for bulk production, marketing of products & value addition. 11. Business plan development and coordination with stakeholders. 12. Closely monitor the implementation of livelihood activities to timely identify any problems that may affect the achievement of intended outputs and results 13. Provide guidance to field staff for preparation of business development plans and convergence with line departments. 14. Training in the field level on FAQ of various MFP & SAP. 15. Explore overseas market for selling of different MFP/SAP/Handicraft and Handloom. Any other task as may be assigned by the Managing Director. Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.60,000/- per month

6 Retail Manager Qualification: MBA /PGDBM with specialization in Marketing from recognized University /Institute of repute. Experience 1. Should have minimum experience of 5 years as Retail Manager in any Govt. /PSU Corporation. 2. Overall 8-10 years of experience in retail sector. Should have minimum 5-6 years of retail marketing experience, of SAP, MFP, Handicraft & Handlooms sourced from scheduled areas of Odisha. 3. Upper age limit 40 years. Job Description: 1. To facilitate smooth functioning of chain of retail outlets of the corporation. 2. To ensure efficient management of supply chain and value chain of different products for retail marketing through the outlets. 3. To develop operational guideline/ systems for establishment of retail mart at Branch level. 4. To ensure strong coordination with the partner agency working with TDCCOL for business development. 5. To facilitate innovative strategies in retail business through packaging, branding, product diversification and promotion. 6. To promote sale and marketing of tribal products by participating in different exhibitions in & out of state. 7. To organize In-door and outdoor promotional activities for promotion of product and brand. 8. To strengthen the processing units of TDCCOL and partner organization to improve quality of the produce based need assessment. 9. To facilitate automation system for stock management at godown and retail outlet level.

7 10. To contribute for capacity need assessment and in designing, skill building programme to improve the sale of produces in the outlet. 11. To identify the agencies(s) for marketing of TDCCOL products across the globe. 12. Packaging and product development. 13. Online retail marking through ecommerce. 14. Overall responsibility of retail management of TDCCOL outlets. 15. Other assignments as required from time to time. Any other task as may be assigned by the Managing Director. Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- per month.
