For nine years the American Soybean Association s (ASA) Soy Social and Auction has scored touchdowns for soybean producers. ASA will huddle up again for the 10 th annual Soy Social and Auction, presenting the 2015 theme Touchdown! Going All the Way for Soybean Producers! Every year, with our tremendous industry and state support, the Soy Social and Auction continues to be a highlight of ASA s convention and trade show, Commodity Classic. ASA is asking you to join our team and be our 12 th Man by sponsoring and donating an item for the live and silent auction on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona. Like Peyton Manning, in 2014 who shattered all kinds of passing records, the ASA Soy Social and Auction also shattered its all-time fundraising record raising more than $225,000 in auction proceeds, registration and sponsorships. Let the numbers tell the story: Total Attendees: More than 420 U.S. soybean producers from the top soybean producing states attended in 2014, giving sponsors direct access to key customers and relationship building with potential customers. A fantastic networking opportunity! Total Bidders: More than 263 bidders participated in the ASA Soy Social and Auction, bidding on more than 90 items. Total Silent Auction Items: Featured more than 45 items including trips to Walt Disney World Orlando, Hawaii, custom jewelry, a golf club package, Apple ipads, and many others. The silent auction raised more than $28,480. A successful fundraising event! Total Live Auction Items: The ASA Soy Social and Auction featured more than 45 items including leased time of large farm equipment, shotguns and rifles, premium sport packages and many more items. 6 First Sighting Party The First Sighting Party is a special early viewing limited to the first 50 individuals to register for this activity. The First Sighting Party begins 30 minutes prior to the general admission. As a sponsor you will be able to personally greet and visit with these party-goers. Participants are first to view auction items and select seating for the dinner portion of the event, as well as have early access to the beverage and buffet area prior to the general admission. The First Sighting Party will begin at 5:30 pm. In our VIP Luxury Box seating, your company can sponsor one or two of the VIP special seating areas. One of the VIP Luxury Boxes will be auctioned off at the ASA Board of Directors Meeting in December and the other VIP Luxury Box will be auctioned off at the 2015 ASA Soybean Leadership College. The winning bidder will be able to bring six guests to his/her VIP Luxury Box and join two of your company representatives for each area, for a total of eight people. The VIP Luxury Boxes will have their own private attendee to serve drinks so you and your guests don t miss a minute of the action. 7 Soy Auction Soybucks $50 To encourage attendees to bid on items, ASA will offer each attendee $50 in Soybucks to use for bidding on a live or silent auction item. The sponsor of the Soybucks will have their corporate logo as part of the design. Additional sponsorship benefits include: Four complimentary registrations for the Soy Social and Auction A maximum one-minute video to be aired during the auction Ability to place a pop-up banner or one-piece of printed material in event area Logo in Soy Social and Auction Program Recognition as Soybucks sponsor on ASA Soy Social and Auction App Your corporate logo here! Sponsorship Level: $5,000 - Exclusive Sponsorship Opportunity Commemorative Hat and Jersey Activity Put your corporate logo on what s guaranteed to be one of the hottest items of the auction. ASA will auction off five limited edition commemorative hat and matching apparel items as part of the live auction. As sponsor you will have your corporate logo embroidered on each of the hats and apparel items. The Commemorative Hat and Apparel item is related to the theme of the ASA Soy Social and Auction. The sponsor will receive up to five additional non-numbered matching hat and apparel items for memorabilia. How the Commemorative Hat Drawing Works: The five winners of the commemorative hats will be asked to come to the front of the room. At a table next to the five winners will be five prizes in various size boxes. The prizes will range from $250 to $1,500 in value. The auctioneer will have the sponsor pull a random number. The first person s number to be drawn will have the ability to choose one of the five prizes. The second drawn number will then choose their prize and so on. Once all of the prizes have been selected, all winners will open their prizes. 8 Mystery Box Activity ASA will purchase a limited supply of small commemorative footballs with the auction logo and the Mystery Box sponsor logo on the football. The footballs will be sold for $25 each. The purchaser will enter their name into a drawing for one of the two Mystery Box items. The sponsor will draw the name out of the drum. The Mystery Box items will be of equal value, approximately $500 to $600. The first person drawn will have the option to choose the first items and open the prize immediately. After a short break, the second person will be drawn. Persons MUST be present to win.
