3 LEOcoin Merchants programme Background The programme is designed to provide Members with earning opportunities through a Merchant recruitment programme, give Members access to special offers on products and services provided by those Merchants and to promote the use of LEOcoin. When a Merchant completes a sale to a Member, 1% of the transaction value is recorded against the account of the Member who recruited them in the form of BP. The LEO Standard Compensation plan applies. Where the law and local regulations permit cryptocurrencies to be used to settle retail sales, the default currency for payment will be LEOcoin. 4 How to sell Step 1 Step 3 Finding Merchants The first step could not be easier you know your local area and where the shops are (corner shops, high streets, shopping centres). Any shop, large or small, will be interested. It does not matter whether they have an on-line shopping site or not. The ones without a web site will get greater benefit. The most efficient use of your time and the most effective way to recruit a Merchant is with a face-toface meeting. Walk down to these places and go into the first shop and ask to speak with the Owner or the Manager. Why should they spend time to meet you? Because you have a way to help them get more customers and reduce their costs. It does not cost anything to join and there are no ongoing membership fees. You d like to share this opportunity. You just need 5 minutes to show how this is possible. If the Owner or Manager is not available, ask for a contact number so you can call and fix a meeting. Once you have covered all the shops in all your local streets and shopping centres you can start to go further afield. Make a plan to visit another town. Use the internet to find where the main shopping streets and shopping centres are located and do the same as above. Step 2 Meeting Merchants When you get to speak to them, have the meeting somewhere quiet, where you can sit down and show them the programme without interruptions. Take your laptop/tablet/smart phone so that you can show them the web site and the ebrochure. If that is not possible, you will have to print the ebrochure and take it with you. 3 The 5 minute explanation Say the following to them. Shoppers hunt for the best deal. They will go to your competitor very quickly if there is a better deal. They are not always loyal. It is becoming hard to keep customers coming back. Keeping your name in front of people is hard. LEO Members will use the Search functions to locate shops of LEOcoin Merchants by their name, business category or location and see their preferred search results in either grid or map view: 4

6 And with the option to view individual Merchants on map with their details and links to social media sites of that Merchant: LEO Members favour Merchants who accept LEOcoin. Merchants will attract new customers who may have gone to their competitors. LEO Members will be loyal to LEOcoin Merchants. LEO Members will go to this site first. This is good for Merchants who have a web shop and for those who don t. Merchants will receive a free admin panel and app both with LEOcoin point-of-sale functionality and management panel to track their sales. If the Merchant has a web shop, then LEO will provide the interface to the Merchant s regular shopping cart process at no cost to the Merchant. 5

9 How it works The Customer journey The customer sees the business on the LEOcoin Merchants site. They can find information about the business type, a short description of what is on offer, social media pages, contact details and location on a map. When the customer visits the shop and then decides to make a purchase they can use their LEOcoin mobile wallet to scan the QR code provided by the Merchant via the Admin panel Point-of-Sale and approve the transfer of an amount of LEOcoin in payment for their purchase. 8

10 How it works The Merchants journey By entering details of the business, shop image or logo, pinning the location of the main retail outlet on the map and choosing a username and password the Merchant will join the LEOcoin Merchant programme. Every application is reviewed by a LEOcoin Merchant programme site administrator and if acceptable, will be published within 48 hours. Merchants get free access to an Admin panel where listings & security settings can be managed, Point-of- Sale application can be accessed, account statements & invoice history can be tracked, downloading and attaching a LEOcoin wallet can be effected. Through the Admin function LEOcoin can be transferred to the registered wallet and an account created with LEOxChange to trade LEOcoin for fiat currency which can then be paid to a bank account of choice. Pricing of products & services in LEOcoin is optional. Joining the LEOcoin Merchant programme gives exposure to LEO Members and also supporters of the LEOcoin community across the world. 9
