Smart Energy GB has histrically been slely tasked with driving awareness and knwledge f smart meters, and a desire t get ne, acrss the GB ppulatin. The respnsibility fr cnverting that interest int smart meter installatins has always sat exclusively with individual energy suppliers. In 2019, that is all ging t change. While we still cntinue t make the emtinal and ratinal case fr smart meters, we nw have an expanded remit t cnvert that interest int bked installatins. S we re lking fr a skilful, experienced Perfrmance Marketing Manager, wh s excited abut the challenge f getting us ff the grund as a respnse advertiser. Senir management will give yu a clear brief, a set f acquisitin KPIs and a set budget, but yu will be accuntable fr and entrusted t deply that budget and manage wrkstreams, at the head f the internal and agency team that will make it all happen. Yu will wrk directly with ur insight and digital teams, as well as ur industry leading creative and media agencies. Yu will be managing a newly created perfrmance marketing team f tw, sitting within the brand and advertising team. Key tasks / respnsibilities Yur primary respnsibility is t use respnse activity t cnvert the demand we create fr smart meters, int peple bking installatins with their energy supplier. T enable yu t d this, yu will have a seven figure perfrmance marketing budget at yur dispsal Wrking with media and creative agencies t ptimise ur perfrmance advertising plans. This wuld include budget split by channel, media buying and targeting within thse channels, creative testing, and all related aspects. Guide ur internal Insight team and ur media agency t ensure we have best in class perfrmance measurement framewrk, t make bth managing ur activity and reprting it as simple and effective as pssible Prvide external stakehlders with regular updates n ur perfrmance marketing plans & activity. This will be dne directly with the Directr and Deputy Directr f Marketing, plus the Head f Industry Relatins 4

6 Guide and wrk alngside the digital team t ensure perfrmance marketing is jint up with ur wned channels (in particular ur website) Supprt the Head f Brand & Advertising and the senir leadership team with annual planning, budget setting, and target setting Supprt ther crss department strategic and creative initiatives where required Line manage and versee the prfessinal develpment f mre junir members f the team, including line managing tw marketing executives.
