1 Repairs and Maintenance Event May 2013 Crowne Plaza, Nottingham

2 About the Event The government has sent a clear message to service providers - deliver more for less. Since government funding has tightened, getting the best possible value out of properties and making the most of your assets has become increasingly important. The repairs and maintenance service is one of the most important services that landlords provide and it is the service that tenants access the most and this two day event will look at how you can ensure that your repairs service is fit for purpose and resident led. The repairs and maintenance role has become more demanding in how to deliver reduced costs and improve results. This two day event will provide practical advice and informative case studies to front line housing professionals involved in delivering a Repairs & Maintenance service. Delegates will remain you up to date with the latest hot topics, legislative procedures and new industry initiatives in the sector, highlighting new and more efficient working processes. The event will provide innovative talks focusing on practical application, successes and challenges faced in the effective delivery of a repairs service. We will look into the importance of a repairs and maintenance service and delve into the CIH repairs charter exploring how we can improve the services offered in your organisation. As we continue to work in challenging times we look to deliver more for less and maximise the potential of our organisations. Join us to delve into discussion around frontline issues in delivering a responsive repairs and maintenance service. We will explore key issues including redesigning your repairs service, procuring the best materials and legal updates. We will be rethinking how the repairs service is delivered and provide you with the platform to share your experiences and put your questions to expert speakers. Following customer feedback from our previous events, we will start later on day one allowing off-peak travel during the first morning, in turn also saving organisations the cost of accommodation the night before.
