2 Petaluma s 17th Annual Art & Garden Festival Who can apply using this application? $200 Petaluma Commercial Business/ Service: a Petaluma business with 5 employees or less. Current Petaluma Downtown Association Members in good standing are eligible for a 10% discount. This category is specifically for small businesses not for individual representatives of a larger business. $350 Sonoma County Commercial Business/ Service: a Sonoma County local business with 5 employees or less. Current and well-standing Members are eligible for a 10% discount. This category is specifically for local businesses not for individual representatives of a larger business. $500 Individual / Group Representing a Larger Corporation / MLM / Franchise: a individual or group of less than 5 employees representing and selling goods and services of a franchise. Examples of this would be CutCo, MaryKay, BeachBody. This category does not include commercial businesses represented by a single employee. Commercial Businesses/ Service that do not fall in one of these categories must fill out a sponsorship application. Sponsorship levels and benefits can be found on page 5. If your application is submitted under the wrong category, your application will be considered incomplete and we will contact you to tell you what category we consider you to be in. Rules & Regulations: For Businesses that Fall in One of the Above Categories Premium Spaces will be reserved for all accepted applicants and will be located on Fourth & Kentucky measuring approximately 12 by 12. Setup with your vehicle is from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM. All booths will be expected to be set up by 10:30am. Vehicles must be off premise by 9:30am and will not be allowed back in the festival area until after the show ends at 5:30pm. Free on street parking for sellers is available nearby. No merchandise or boxes may be placed on sidewalks or against buildings. Please keep all merchandise in your assigned area only. Electricity is available but very limited. Water availability will be limited as well. Pop Ups & Umbrellas will be available for rent. One 10 by 10 pop up with weights is $100 and one market umbrella with stand is $50. Tables & Chairs must be furnished by the Sellers. Placing merchandise on the ground in lieu of tables or display cabinets is unacceptable. Resale Permit - The State Board of Equalization requires and enforces that all companies, organizations and individuals making sales have a current and valid California resale permit. No one will be assigned a space at the Festival without providing a copy of their resale permit. If you don t have a seller s permit get one at: or call License Fees for city, county or state are the responsibility of the Seller. Reservations must be made by June 8, Spaces will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Unclaimed booths, if any, will be resold at 9:30 AM on July 8th. Subleasing is not permitted. Confirmation and Space Number Notifications will be sent out no later than June 29th, Included will be set-up instructions, a detailed map and further information. Cancellations must be received by June 15, 2018 for refund. After June 15, 2018 all monies deposited will be forfeited. The Festival will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given due to weather. Insurance of any kind is not provided to festival participants. Liability of the, its directors, employees, volunteers, the Petaluma Downtown Art & Garden Committee and Promoter, the City of Petaluma and the County of Sonoma shall be waived and released from any theft, injury or damage to merchandise, themselves or their helpers. Breakdown of booth space will not be permitted until 5:00 PM. No exceptions. Vehicles may not enter the festival area until 5:30 PM or until the festival crowd has dispersed. Please do not drive the wrong way on one-way streets. About the Festival: The Art & Garden Festival was created in 2001 by Petaluma merchants to show off the best of our area and continues today in the same spirit. Hailed as one of Petaluma s best loved events, it continues to grow and bring a joyful day to many local and bay area attendees. The event showcases, local restaurants, wineries, breweries and local bands. There will be over 100 vendors selling hand crafted items ranging from sustainable garden, plants, jewelry, fine art, clothing, food products and so much more. 8 When is the deadline? When do we find out if we are accepted? Frequently Asked Questions June 8th is the official deadline but we encourage you to call in if you are late to check if space is still available. Confirmation of space and acceptance will be sent out no later than June 29th. When do we find out our space location? How do I get the application to you? Can I or fax my application? How much does it cost participate? What is included for vendors? Do you allow booth sharing? What if it rains? Space and loading information will be sent out no later than June 29th to the mailing address provided in the application. Our shows go on rain or shine. No refunds will be given. What if I have to cancel? Do I get a refund? How do I get food and drink at the event? I am a Member do I get a discount?
