This allowed them to understand what their most valuable customers looked like, identify opportunities for segment growth and to find look-alike prospects using REaD Group s consumer database. REaD Group conducted an initial RFM segmentation covering all the client s customers and transactions. These segments were then refined based on demographic and transactional characteristics and extrapolated to find share of wallet for each. Five clear segments were identified, and a persona was created for each drawing on their key characteristics.
