AT $16 EACH, WITH 40% PROFIT, YOU MAKE $6.40 PER SALE. ANNUAL FUND LETTERS SEND THE ATTACHED LETTERS TO FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS. Orders may be submitted online (see for more information) or via paper form. Money for scrip should be placed in the black SCRIP box in the band hall. An order form is attached. PERCENTAGES VARY BASED ON EACH CARD ANNUAL FUND See attached letters. Send these to ANYONE you think would give money to the band program on your behalf. The letters are meant to explain the benefits of participation in music to the donor. 6 Stevi B s Cards Order Form: Please Reserve Stevi B s cards for me. I understand that I must return all unsold cards and will be responsible for all cards not sold or returned at $10 a piece. Think about Christmas and birthday gifts, or people that you know who just love Stevi B's! The cards will sell for $10 each (they are a $65 value) and $9 of each card sold will go to your student's band account. We will be selling the cards for a month. The money or remaining cards will need to be turned in by Sept. 20 th. 6

7 Hillgrove Scrip Fundraising Program Earn money toward your band fees through Scrip! For the school year, we had three (3) families that earned over $800 each toward their band fees through Scrip alone! As an organization, we earned over $10,000 through Scrip toward band fees!! Scrip is a program where you can buy gift cards (dollar for dollar value) through a website that is linked to our band boosters organization and you get a % credited to your student's band account. It's basically free money if you buy cards for stores where you spend money anyway. See the attached sheet for a list of available retailers. How it works: 1. You sign up for a scrip account online. Go to You will be asked to create a username and password. You will also be asked for an enrollment code. Hillgrove's Enrollment Code: 133LDB7L Once you have your login, you can start ordering scrip. Just look through the vendors online and add cards to your cart as you find things that you want to purchase. You will be able to review your order before it is submitted so you can add and delete items until you hit the "Pay" button on the last screen. 3. Once your order is complete you can click on "Checkout". 4. You can pay for your orders 2 different ways. a. You can set up a "PrestoPay" account that is linked to your bank account. (Note: Setting up PrestoPay takes about three days before you can actually pay for an order using prestopay.) Once you set this up, you can pay for your scrip order through PrestoPay whenever you wish. There is a $0.15 charge to use PrestoPay each time. If you set up PrestoPay on your account, you do NOT have to use it every time. You are given the choice how to pay with each individual order. (Note: ScripNow purchases require PrestoPay.) b. You can pay by a check that you give to the scrip coordinator on Scrip night or by dropping your check in the Scrip box prior to Scrip night. Note: All orders must be paid for prior to the scrip coordinator releasing the order to be processed by Great Lakes Scrip. So if you place an order online and choose to pay with a check but forget to bring your check, your ordered will not be filled that week. 5. Orders are typically placed every Tuesday (by 9:00 p.m.) & cards are available the following Tuesday (however this day could fluctuate at the discretion of the Scrip Coordinators.) In general, payments are collected & cards are distributed by the Scrip coordinators weekly at the school on predetermined "Scrip Nights." ScripNOW! ScripNow is one of the easiest ways to take advantage of this program. ScripNow allows you to buy a "virtual" gift card from certain retailers (listed below) and the gift card value is available almost immediately (within minutes in most cases) instead of having to wait a week for your cards to be delivered. You receive an saying your gift card is ready and you go to the scrip website login to your account and print your certificate. The certificate can be used online or in the store just like a normal gift card. Some retailers can even use ScripNow from your smartphone or tablet.
