5 Frequently Asked Questions Where can I park? o Overnight parking garages are available in the area, garage entry is accessible via N. Garfield Street (directly behind LI) for $12 per day. What is the closest metro station? o The Clarendon Station on the Orange line, one block north of the Leadership Institute. I have a dorm reservation, where will I be staying during the school? o Male and female dormitories are located on the Basement Level of the Leadership Institute. Provided supplies are pillows, blankets, towels and bed sheets. o The address is 1101 N. Highland St, Arlington, VA Where will the training be located? o All training activities will be on the 3 rd floor of the Leadership Institute. Are meals provided at the school? o Yes. fast, lunch and dinner are included. There is also a Trader Joe s grocery store located next door. Is there a dress code? o Yes. The dress code for our trainings is business or business casual attire. What are the check-in and check-out times for the dorms? o Check-in is on May 21 st after 5pm and check-out is on May 26 th before 11am. I am staying in the dorms, but will be arriving after work hours. Is that Ok? o Yes. There is a security guard in the lobby after 5PM nightly, they will be able to check your name and give you access to your dorm space. I want to stay at a local hotel, do you recommend any nearby accommodations? o Please refer to our website for more detailed information: I will be missing some portion of the program due to schedule constraints. o That s no problem. Keep the program agenda handy to know what lectures you will miss. Most of the speakers will have a visual component to their lecture and these will be made available to download afterwards. Where do I access the presentations from the program? o If the speaker has a PowerPoint presentation component or handout, this will be made available to download from your MYLI account online at the end of the program.
