1 OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS AND IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. 1. ELIGIBILITY. This sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to natural persons (i.e. not corporate or business entities) who are legal residents of the United States or District of Columbia, age 18 or older, or the legal age of majority in your place of residence (whichever is older) at the time of entry (each an Entrant ). Entrants must provide a shipping address in the United States to be eligible. Employees, directors, officers and principals, of the Bose Corporation ( Bose ), its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, agents and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, immediate family members shall include the mother, father, brokers, sisters, daughters, sons, partners or spouse of an individual (regardless of where any such immediate family member resides. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. 2. PROMOTION PERIOD. The Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time on September 1, 2016 and ends at 11:59 a.m. Eastern Time on September 9, 2016 (the "Promotion Period"). 3. HOW TO ENTER. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. For entry into the Sweepstakes, during the Promotion Period, each Entrant must submit their entry through one of the two methods listed below: (a) ENTRY METHODS Method #1: Twitter Entry (1) log-in and/or create a Twitter account at (2) use their personal Twitter handle to retweet tweet(s) announced and designated by Twitter handle (the Sweepstakes Retweet ) during the Promotion Period (resulting in an Entry or, collectively, Entries ), (3) each individual Sweepstakes Retweet may only be retweeted once per Entrant. Multiple retweets of an individual Sweepstakes Retweet during the Promotion Period by an Entrant will not be accepted, and will not increase such Entrant s odds of winning the Sweepstakes. All Entries must be submitted from a valid Twitter account. Twitter membership is free, but is subject to acceptance of the Twitter Terms of Use, which can be found at Method #2: Facebook Entry (1) log-in and/or create a Facebook account at (2) use their personal Facebook account to comment on certain post(s) announced and designated by the official Bose Facebook account (the Sweepstakes Post ) during the Promotion Period (resulting in an Entry or, collectively, Entries ),

2 (3) each individual Sweepstakes Post may only be commented on once per Entrant. Multiple comments of an individual Sweepstakes Post during the Promotion Period by an Entrant will not be accepted, and will not increase such Entrant s odds of winning the Sweepstakes. All Entries must be submitted from a valid Facebook account. Facebook membership is free, but is subject to acceptance of the Facebook Terms of Use, which can be found at (b) GENERAL Multiple Entrants are not permitted to share the same address or Facebook/Twitter account. If it is discovered by Bose (using any evidence or other information made available to, or otherwise discovered by Bose) that any Entrant has attempted to use (or attempt to use) multiple names, identities, addresses and/or any automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or disrupt this Sweepstakes, that person may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes, and any future sweepstakes of Bose, in the sole discretion of Bose. Limit one (1) Entry per person regardless of method of entry. Limit one (1) Prize per person. All entries received after the respective close dates of the Sweepstakes will be void. Before being declared a winner, a selected entrant must be in compliance with the Official Rules, and their entry information must be verified. Any prize notification or prize delivery returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification. By entering the Sweepstakes, participant(s) agree to be bound by the Official Rules. Bose reserves the right to remove any entry or posting, or refuse to allow an entry based on content. All entries become the property of Bose and will not be acknowledged or returned. Bose reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to Bose including, without limitation, government issued photo identification): (i) for the purposes of verifying an Entrant s eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes; (ii) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of an Entry entered (or purportedly entered) for the purposes of this Sweepstake; and/or (iii) for any other reason Bose deems necessary, in its sole discretion, for the purposes of administering this Sweepstakes in accordance with these Official Rules. Failure to provide such proof to the satisfaction of Bose in a timely manner may result in disqualification of the Entrant in the sole discretion of Bose. The potential winner of the Prize (the Selected Entrant ) may also be requested to provide Bose with reasonable proof that the Selected Entrant is the Authorized Account Holder of the Facebook/Twitter account associated with the winning Entry. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the Authorized Account Holder in whose name the Facebook/Twitter account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility criteria of this Sweepstakes. Authorized Account Holder shall mean the natural person assigned to an address and/or telephone number by an Internet access provider, online service provider, telephone service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address (a valid address is required to register for a Facebook/Twitter account).

3 All Entries shall become the property of Bose and none shall be returned. Each Entrant irrevocably confirms that no third party was involved in the creation of the Entry. By entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Bose, which are final with respect to all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. 4. PRIZE AND ODDS OF WINNING: There are four (4) prize packs available to be won during the Sweepstakes consisting of: one (1) Bose QuietComfort 35 Wireless headphone set, one (1) SoundLink Mini II Bluetooth speaker, one (1) autographed item autographed by an NFL player (the Prize ). The approximate retail value of each Prize is six hundred fifty dollars ($650.00). The winner of the Prize is not entitled to any difference between the actual value of the Prize and the approximate retail value stated herein. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The Prize will be fulfilled within thirty (30) days from the end of the Sweepstakes. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries during the Promotional Period as determined by Bose. Winner must provide a legal mailing address within the United States; the Prize cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. No case substitutions for the Prize, and the Prize is nonrefundable and nontransferable except at the sole discretion of Bose. 5. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Within one (1) week of the end of the Promotion Period, Bose will choose four (4) eligible Entrants, at random, from that Promotion Period s valid Twitter entries, as the winner of the Sweepstakes. The Selected Entrant will be contacted by Bose via Direct Messaging through Twitter following the draw. If a Selected Entrant cannot be contacted or fails to respond within twenty four (24) hours of the first attempt of contact by Bose, he/she will be considered to have forfeited his/her Prize and disqualified and another Entrant may be selected, from the remaining eligible Entries until such time as contact is made with a Selected Entrant, there are no more eligible Entries, or there is insufficient time to award the Prize, whichever comes first. In the event that an alternate Selected Entrant is required to be selected, the same above-noted process will apply. Bose will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a Selected Entrant. All decisions by Bose regarding selection of the winner(s) shall be binding and final in all respects. Upon successful contact with a Selected Entrant via Facebook message on Facebook and/or Direct Messaging on Twitter, the Selected Entrant will be required to provide certain contact information as requested by Bose (e.g. full name, age, telephone number, address, and mailing address). The Selected Entrant may be required to sign a Declaration, Release and Waiver Form confirming compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of the Prize as-awarded, without substitution, and releasing Bose from any liability in connection with the Prize or the Sweepstakes before being granted the Prize. If the Selected Entrant does not meet all of the Sweepstakes requirements contained herein, refuses to provide the contact information requested by Bose or does not sign and return the Release Form to Bose within the time frame specified therein, that Selected Entrant will forfeit his/her Prize and Bose shall be entitled (but not obligated) to select another Entrant from the remaining eligible Entries until such time as contact is made with an Entrant or there are no more eligible Entries, whichever comes first. This process may continue until the Prize has been awarded or there is insufficient time to permit the awarding of the Prize. In the event that an alternate Selected Entrant

4 is required to be selected, the same above noted process will apply. Bose is not responsible, whether as a result of human error or otherwise, for any failure to contact any Selected Entrant. 6. GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Any winner agrees to provide Bose with necessary information to complete any necessary I.R.S and other forms. By participating and accepting a prize, so long as there is no legal prohibition, a Selected Entrant agrees to the use of his/her name for advertising or publicity purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to him/her relating to Bose or this Sweepstakes, and releases any and all rights to said use without further compensation. 7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. All Sweepstakes Entrants, and his/her representatives, heirs, next of kin or assignees (the Entrant s Representatives ), hereby release Bose, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all others associated with the Sweepstakes (the Released Parties ) from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of the Prize, including without limitation liability for personal injury, death, damages, or financial loss. The Entrant and the Entrant s Representatives agree to fully indemnify the Released Parties from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Sweepstakes, without limitation. Bose is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes. Bose assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Bose is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to Entrants or to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes. Bose is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any Entrants. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of the Sweepstakes, or defraud Bose in any way may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Entrants engaging in any of the foregoing activities will be disqualified and will forfeit any prizes won. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Bose which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Bose reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. 8. PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY RIGHTS. By accepting the Prize, the Winner agrees to allow Bose and its respective subsidiaries and affiliates, promotional and advertising agencies and representatives the right to use his/her name, Twitter user name, Facebook user name, biographical

5 information, image, photos and/or likeness and statements for programming, promotion, trade, commercial, advertising and publicity purposes in connection with this Sweepstakes, at any time or times, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, including but not limited to on television, video, the World Wide Web and Internet, without notice, review or approval and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Bose respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from Entrants will only be used by Bose to administer the Sweepstakes and, only if consent is actively given at the time of entry, to provide Entrants with information regarding upcoming promotions and/or events from Bose. 9. DISPUTES. The Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the federal laws of the United States applicable therein without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction s laws. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with the terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. This Sweepstakes is not in any manner sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Twitter and/or Facebook. You are providing your information to Bose and not to Twitter and/or Facebook. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each Entrant releases and agrees to indemnify Twitter and/or Facebook and hold it harmless from and against any and all costs, claims, damages, (including, without limitation, any special, incidental or consequential damages), or any other injury, whether due to negligence or otherwise, to person(s) or property (including, without limitation, death or violation of any personal rights, such as violation of right of publicity/privacy, libel, or slander), due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Sweepstakes, or arising out of participation in any Sweepstakes related or Prize related activity, or the receipt, enjoyment, participation in, use or misuse, of any Sweepstakes or Prize related activity, whether hosted by Bose or a third party. 10. WINNERS LIST: A winners list will be available within thirty (30) days of the end of the Promotion Period.
