3 Introduction According to JETRO assessment, around 9 percent of total population in Thailand use TVs and Mobile Phones in 211. It can be estimated that almost 99% of total population use mobile phones and TVs nowadays. On the other hand, the generation of e-waste from household is also increasing annually. PCD estimated in its annual report in 216, the generation of household e-waste especially from Mobile Phones, TVs and PC is increasing significantly between 214 and 221.

6 Introduction Importance of public participation More than 6% of the population keep the used Mobile phone at home while End-of-Life mobile phone end up in an informal management/recycling system.(sangprasert and Pharino (212)) Reasons The lack of public awareness and participation in e-waste management system The lack of enough knowledge about e-waste The lack of an efficient collection system for mobile phone/tv waste

7 Objectives To find out the human behavior after stop using mobile phones/ TV To compare the behavior of people in disposing mobile phones and TV To promote people in e- waste collection system

8 Methodology Survey will be carried out in terms of random sampling method in two different locations (different genders, age, income, etc,.). Study Areas : CU Campus & Siam square one Human behavior in waste disposal was analyze in term of total population, gender, education and age. Study area

13 Result & Discussion - Phone and TV Most of people prefer to keep their phone more than TV. The general reasons they keep their phone/ TV are love/ memory and no place to disposal. Thus, the government should provide more drop points of TV/ phone. Most of people sell their TV/ phone to the second hand shop, so the government should cooperate with the seller to promote people to return their e-waste back after stop using such award or discount when they buy new phone.

15 Result & Discussion - Phone and TV Most of people prefer the service center of collecting system because they are easily to dispose their e-waste. People usually change their phone more than TV, so the amount of phone e-waste is higher than TV.

In disposal of TVs, people tend to prefer second hand shop to service center. 31 Conclusion Total population People tend to keep their phone more than TV. The main reasons they keep are memory and no place to dispose. People prefer to drop their phone/ TV at service center after stop using. Gender The females keep their phone because of memory and no place to dispose Males keep phone because second hand shop price is too cheap and don t know how to return back. Education High schools change their phone more than four years while higher bachelors change their phone less than one year. Age Second hand market should be promoted because people want to drop and sell their Mobile Phone and TV not in use to second hand shop
