3 Dear Shooting Stars, September is what I call the bridge month to the Fall/Holiday selling season. What you do to add new customers and team members in September will pay off more than you know. The new customers you develop in September and October will be those who will shop with you during the November and December holiday season. New team members who start their business in September have a jumpstart to capturing the best season of our entire year the Holiday selling season! September is a fabulous month to start making lists and having conversations with businesses that you frequent about employee holiday gifts. Also begin planting seeds with men you know letting them know about your gift service for all their shopping needs but particularly for their significant other. Don t forget to mention the 12 Days of Christmas which can be created especially for their significant other or for children to have some fun hiding a gift the 12 days prior to Christmas for their mom, or for a college student (make notes now of who is moving their daughter to college among your FB friends) to receive a gift each of the 12 days prior to being home for Christmas or for an elderly mom, who has everything, but may enjoy opening a gift for 12 days ending on Christmas day. Make a list of everyone you speak to so you can follow-up at the appropriate time. Business owners could be ready to pre-order their holiday gifts now so they can check that task off their list! KEY WORDS: PLANT SEEDS NOW & FOLLOW-UP LATER! It is never too early because it is a conversation that must be repeated over and over so you are remembered in the hustle and bustle of the holiday shopping season! They may remember that you said, you let them shop from their seat and not their feet when crunch time and busy times arrive. Capture a WISH LIST for every customer possible now! You will be a happy girl when all of the orders come in from Santa s in November and early December! Men love to shop from a Wish List in their loved one s own handwriting! Capture it now and send it to their Santa in early November! I am including a Wish List that you can begin using right now in this newsletter! I am going to be very random and share two more things that really have nothing to do with Fall or the Holidays: A few weeks ago, I was in a hurry and decided that I would skip using my Lash Primer that morning. Pam, who most of you know in my office for 27 years now, has always said that it was the Lash Primer that made the difference more so than the mascara itself. My claim was that it was the Lash Intensity Mascara that made such a difference. However, the morning I skipped Lash Primer, I discovered it was actually both the Lash Primer and Mascara together! Just a story that you may want to share to encourage your customers to add on a Lash Primer with their Mascara. I just read a great statistic published about the future of Color Cosmetics: Analysts forecast that the Color Cosmetics Market in the US will grow by 3.52% during the period Now is a great time to become a color application expert! You will be sought out for your knowledge because you can show and explain to customers and perspective customers their best application based on their features!
