1 MARKETING SYLLABUS FOR ALL MARKETING CLASSES Level 1- Marketing Essentials Level 2- Marketing Applications Level 3- Marketing Management Students in each of the above classes will be expected to purchase, and bring to class, TWO spiral notebooks. One of the notebooks will be kept in my classroom for your Deca Competition question/answer. The second spiral notebook will be kept for Weekly Class assignments will be kept in your notebook and checked for a weekly grade. Immediately after the bell rings students must takeout their DECA Competition Spiral Notebook and write down three DECA Questions & answer posted from my Teacher Outbox. Each week notebooks will be checked and graded! Business Standard Grade- worth 50-points each quarter for simply adhering to my Classroom Rules for Marketing. Failure to abide by any of these rules will result in a 5-point deduction from your Business Standard Grade. The teacher will notify student he/she just lost 5- points for an infraction. This grade will appear in Pinnacle and be updated each class by teacher. Professional Dress Day - worth 50-points you will dress professional business attire on your select day and stay in the professional attire during the entire school day to receive full credit. WHO: What to Wear All Marketing & AOHT students (over 500 students!!) Girls- A business skirt, slacks or dress appropriate for a job interview. Dress shoes (heals not required) Boys dress shirt, dress slacks, belt, tie and dress shoes Note- Any student who does not own proper business attire are encouraged to borrow clothing from a friend or may make-up this activity by completing an assignment for the grade.
