7 Coverage Areas Postcode Coverage Areas You can choose the exact postcode areas you wish your Quoting Engine to cover. This can be as many or as few postcode areas as you wish so that you can be certain of communicating with your target market whilst not attracting areas which you are unable to logistically cover. Setting the Quote Price Once you have decided upon the postcode areas you wish to cover you will need to decide upon the price multiplier you use for each postcode area. We will show you sample prices for several multipliers until we find a multiplier that best reflects your pricing. Please note, we can set a different multiplier for each individual postcode stem if necessary (e.g. SW1, SW2, SW3 etc) but we cannot set a different multiplier for different products

Your Quoting Engine They have three clear options at the start of the quote process; start a window quote, start a door quote, or start a conservatory quote. Once they click one of the Start My Quote buttons the quote process will start with the relevant product. The customer will have the option to easily add as many products as they want which are added to the quote one by one. 8

11 How The Engine Works Check Postcode: Set the Right Price During the quote process the customer will be presented with this postcode intercept page. This information is important as not only will it allow you to ascertain whereabouts in the country the customer is based it can also determine the prices that are displayed at the end of the quote. Our system allows you to allocate different pricing to different postcode areas by the use of a multiplier. This multiplier determines the prices that are displayed within each postcode area when a customer creates a quote. For example you can allocate a different multiplier to the postcode region SW1 than the postcode region SW2 should you so wish. This way you have control over your pricing in different areas of the country should you need to take into consideration factors such as fuel costs, congestion charges, toll roads etc. It is important to note that the mutiplier applies to all products quoted. 9

12 How The Engine Works Select Window Options The first page provides consumers with their window options including: - Frame Colour - Handle Colour - Locking Systems - Window Energy Rating (WER) Huge Selection of Styles We have compiled a comprehensive list of the most common window styles in this easy to use window style selection page. This results in 1000 s of different pricing possiblities from a broad range of styles. Consumers can add more windows later and thereby receive quotes on a multitude of different styles. 108

13 How The Engine Works Enter Sizes At this stage the consumer can enter their exact sizes in either centimetres, millimetres or inches. Should the consumer enter a size which is not possible to manufacture, our system will automatically indicate this is the case and provide guidelines as to what sizes are possible for the particular window style selected. We also ask for the room location to know whether or not to automatically add a Fire Egress hinge due to building regulations. Obtain Consumer Details This page in the quote process is designed to obtain contact details from your customers. This will allow you to contact the customer once they have their quote in order to confirm their requirements and book an appointment to see them. Our unique Quoting Engine also allows for a range of glass options to be quoted including: toughened clear, clear standard, obscure toughened or obscure clear. 118

17 How The Engine Works Conservatory Measurements The next step is for the consumer to enter their measurements for the conservatory (width and projection). They can enter these in centimetres, millimetres, meters, feed or inches. If the consumer enters measurements that are not possible to manufacture the system will automatically highlight this and provide them with a message that indicates the minimum and maximum sizes available. Roof Specification The consumer can choose the type of roof they would like for their new conservatory by selecting from a drop-down menu. The options available are as follows: - Glass Activ Blue (SC) - Glass Activ Neutral (SC) - Glass Standard Clear - PolyCarb 35mm (Bronze/Clear/Opal) Installation Service Here the consumer chooses between Survey & Installation Only or Full Build. The system will then calculate their quote depending on whether they need basework carried out or just the glazed frames and roof. It will also specify what is and is not included in the price. 158

18 Dashboard Retrieve Customer Quotes in the Dashboard Once a customer has created a quote online their details will be automatically and instantly stored within your reporting dashboard. You will be provided with a unique Dealer ID and a Password (which you can customise) which will enable you to securely log in to your reporting dashboard and retrieve quotes in real time 24/7, via Pad, PC, Laptop or Mobile. Login to Your Dashboard The image above shows the dashboard login page. You will need to enter your unique Dealer ID and Password here to log in. The dashboard login is accessible via PC, Laptop, Pad or Mobile so you can log in from anywhere at any time. 168

19 Dashboard View Quotes All quotes can be accessed and viewed at anytime in further detail in order for you to know all of the facts before contacting the consumer. Dealer Name Historic Data You can access historic data by choosing the date you wish to view from the drop-down menu. This way you can always go back and check a customer s details at a later date. The online dashboard has unlimited data storage so you never need to worry about losing important customer details. 178

The days are listed in date order with the most recent day at the top of the list. Quotes Created on a Specific Day To access customer information for quotes made on a specific day you can drill down further into the reporting dashboard by clicking the VIEW link. John Smith 18

22 How Do I Deal With A Lead How Do I Deal With An Internet Enquiry? It may sound daft, but internet enquiries need to be handled in a slightly different manner to traditional phone or door canvassed customers. The great thing about an internet enquiry is that the customer has actively opted to engage with you. They already know who you are and what you do and as such are a warm prospect for you to call. How Do I Introduce Myself to a Customer? The customer should have left both and telephone details when they created their quote on your website. The best thing to do is phone them as they have already received an automatically generated from you and calling them is a more direct way of contacting them. The best way to break the ice with the customer is to briefly mention when they went online to create a quote and the items which they have quoted for. This will quickly remind the customer and establish you as a legitimate caller rather than a cold-calling salesperson. What Else Should I Say? It is a good idea to discuss the products they have quoted for online and perhaps suggest further options. It is important to stress that the quote they have received online is a guide price only and the best way for them to get an exact price is for you to pop out, check their measurements, show them a product sample and leave them with the very best deal for the items they require. When Should I Do This? With internet enquiries a strike while the iron is hot mentality is best adopted. I see from our records you recently raised a quote on our website for Products Quoted For. That s great. I hope you found getting a quote online quick and easy. The price you have received online is a good indication of how much your Product should cost however in order to leave you with an exact price we would need to arrange a convenient time to pop out, check your measurements, show you our product and leave you with our very best price. When would be the best time to catch you, would it be mornings, afternoons or evenings? Ok and which day would be best for you? Suggest a Choice of Convenient Days.
