2 The Member Rebate Program is a free member benefit that is available to all active Builder & Remodeler Members. There are over 40 of the countries leading Manufacturer Brands participating in the Member Rebate Program. The Manufacturers offer the same rebates that the Top-5 Builders receive regardless of your volume.

4 Benefits of Participating: MONEY! We send quarterly rebate checks all for just remaining loyal to the leading manufactures you already use in your homes, remodels, or multi-family units. Approximately 70% of the Builders & Remodelers who participated last year nationwide made MORE back in rebates than they spent on dues to their HBA. Sounds like a lot of work? Wrong! We do all the paperwork and mail you a quarterly rebate check directly. You don t have to change how you purchase anything and don t have to submit receipts to us. It couldn t be any easier! Average Rebate Paid per Builder/Remodeler in 2014 was $1,010.63!

5 Why do I get the rebates? Manufacturers want to reward you because they recognize that the small to mid-size Builder and Remodeler is the largest segment of the building industry. These manufacturers are rewarding those Builders and Remodelers with rebates for their loyalty to the products that you most likely are already using in your projects.

7 How to Claim No receipts are necessary to process the rebates as we utilize Manufacturer salespersons to verify the information through their distribution. This makes the paperwork simple and requires minimal time. If you had any completed homes, remodeling projects, or multi-family units in the time frame we are currently collecting (please see "Calendar and Deadline on the website or view the newsletter) and used any of our participating Manufacturers, then follow the instructions on the next slide.

8 How to Claim (cont.) How To Claim (Receive a Rebate Check): Fill out the Rebate Claim Form (Paper or Online) for each home. This is the easiest way if you only have a couple homes and the products used in each home differ greatly. OR Fill out one Rebate Claim Form (Paper or Online) and send in a list of closed homes. This works well if you use the same products in each home. You can view tutorials on our website in the Rebates Claim Section.

10 Frequently Asked Questions? What if my Subcontractors buy supplies? The Manufacturers are rewarding loyalty with these rebates. If you are specifying the product to your Subcontractors, then you are affecting the sale and therefore qualify for the rebate. Must I align with all Manufacturers? No. However, the more Manufacturers in our program that are used, the larger your rebate check will be.

By mentioning the Member Rebate Program to your customers who are members of your Home Builders Association, you are building reciprocity with the Builder & Remodeler. Every quarter, when your customer receives a rebate check they will think of you who introduced them to this free member benefit. The program can also be used to recruit new members in your Local HBA.
