1 Charity In Motion A century ride benefitting Autism Speaks ABOUT US: Bike to the Beach (B2B) is a community-driven non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for autism, while promoting fun and fitness through cycling. B2B was founded in Washington, DC in 2007 to inspire, empower, and motivate members of the local community to challenge themselves, to work as a team, and to make a positive impact on society. Now operating in Washington, DC, New York City, and New England, B2B s efforts culminate annually in the following Charity Events: B2B DC: A Century-ride from Washington, DC to Dewey Beach, DE B2B NYC: A Century-ride from Manhattan to Westhampton Beach, NY B2B New England: A Century-ride from Boston, MA to Newport, RI Since 2007, B2B s annual century-rides and various other events have raised over $1,100,000 for our mission to promote bicycling and support autism research and awareness. B2B has also empowered over 2,000 participants and volunteers to join the B2B team and become actively engaged in their communities. Together, we know that the team potential far exceeds the sum of its parts. With B2B, there is no personal glory; the struggle and the triumph are shared by our participants and community as a whole. Create a ride team Create a rider team to increase your fundraising potential: If your Company creates a fundraising team as a part of your sponsorship, Bike to the Beach will count 50% of your team s fundraising dollars towards your Company s total donation with regards to the sponsorship tier levels. Each rider must pledge to raise $ when they register for the ride. Bike to the Beach will also provide discounted registration for Corporate Teams and fundraising tools to promote B2B and your Company.
