SEDA s normal working hours are Monday Friday, 9.00am 5.00pm. Weekend and evening work may be required on occasions. 2 POSITION: REPORTING TO: Marketing Executive The (DMC) is responsible for the coordination of SEDA Group s online presence and social media platforms, as well as the delivery of marketing campaigns, promotions and initiatives. This position works in unison with other members of the marketing team to implement and deliver a variety of important strategic initiatives across the entire business. The DMC will significantly enhance the profile and quality of the various online assets and direct marketing initiatives. Primary duties: Execute the social media and digital marketing strategies Setup and execute campaigns across a number of online and offline channels Manage multiple social media channels across Australia Implement SEDA communications and marketing campaigns including managing the development, design, approval, production and distribution of digital and printed material Work with industry partners to implement social media content plans across all social channels Work with the Marketing Executive to implement national marketing campaigns to achieve annual student admissions targets Measure the success of campaigns and introduce new initiatives and ideas to drive traffic to the organisation s digital platforms Develop creative and innovative content for SEDA including social media posts, images, videos and content Manage website content and online marketing campaigns Providing design and social media support/advice to internal staff Assist managing budget and monitor ROI

3 Primary Responsibilities Accountabilities Overview Social Media Develop a monthly social media content calendar Improve performance in key areas including reach, engagement, conversion and advocacy Drive participation from the community to increase awareness about SEDA programs Develop relevant and engaging content that can be used across platforms Develop and implement campaigns which encourage staff and students to generate content across social media platforms Design and Content creation Audio visual content production and editing for all digital, web and print platforms Provide suitably produced videos for SEDA and industry partners Design of online advertisements, certificates, and invitations Develop templates for key presentations to stakeholders Suggest innovative and creative content ideas to help grow the brand Be aware of best practice across a number of industries Campaign Management Develop, implement and manage marketing campaigns specific to target audiences Develop marketing strategies, campaign plans and industry partner plans that drive student admissions Generate ideas to improve effectiveness of campaign implementation Targeted marketing in identified schools and areas Market and develop program initiatives via industry partners, clubs and associations Relationship and stakeholder management Develop relationships with key stakeholders including SEDA staff, students, families, partners and suppliers Act as a key point of contact within SEDA for online and offline activities both internally and externally Work collaboratively with other organisations and business areas, to help achieve business objectives Explore new opportunities for relationship development Websites Develop and manage content for our websites Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all websites Work with external digital agency to improve websites Ensure that websites reflect brand values Develop and implement strategies to increase site visits Continue to learn and practice new website management and related skills Identify new opportunities to boost online presence and reputation

4 direct marketing Design and develop content for marketing campaigns that drive student admissions Design and implement marketing campaigns to target specific customer segments Develop marketing campaigns using the CRM Review the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and implement regular and standardised reporting for campaigns Project Support Support the Marketing Executives in major organisation-wide projects Contribute to regular meetings with marketing agencies and suppliers Provide expert guidance and recommendations Metrics Track and report on all social media and website metrics Provide detailed reports of marketing activities, including return-oninvestment analysis and engagement Prepare and analyse reports on data trends and marketing campaigns. 5 Skills and Experience Relevant tertiary qualifications (Communications/marketing/multimedia/digital) or appropriate industry training courses preferred 1-2 years experience in a similar role or position preferred but not essential Talent in generating ideas and transforming concepts into persuasive writing and content Great written and verbal communication skills Knowledge, skills and experience in the following: o Adobe Suite Skills (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator) o Social media channel management Eye for detail and design, commitment to enhancing customer understanding Demonstrated understanding of implementing a digital strategy Experience in content management of websites Understanding of web best practice (user experience, usability, testing, accessibility) Experience in social media management from a business perspective Proven ability to simultaneously manage a number of projects and activities in a fast-paced environment Methodical, practical and creative approach to problem solving Personable, enthusiastic, flexible and confident Creative and innovative thinker Continued desire to learn and grow A six-month probation period applies to full and part time positions of more than 6 months.
