3 RATES PROMOTIONAL STALLS Promotional stalls in Orientation Week provide an excellent way to promote to students in their own environment. Located in the heart of the Parkville campus, promotional stalls allow you to connect with students and get your message across in a credible and exciting way during the busiest event of the year. CARNIVAL DAY Parkville campus Tuesday 24 Feb 2015 The Parkville campus is transformed into a day of interactive games, entertainment, and information services for students. The largest day of the Orientation calendar, Carnival Day sees approximately 8000 students attend. Cost: $1,950 BOOKING DEADLINE: FRIDAY 23 JANUARY 2015 PLEASE NOTE: Spaces are limited. Stalls are booked on a first in basis upon confirmation. CLUBS& SOCIETIES DAYS Parkville campus Thursday 26 & Friday 27 Feb 2015 Our clubs are the most popular activity on campus and with over 200 clubs at the University of Melbourne we have had to split the fun into two jam-packed days. These days attract over 7000 students per day. Cost: $1,600 each day (you can book one or two days)

To confirm your booking please back completed form to Evie Bicos e.bicos@union.unimelb.edu.au TERMS & CONDITIONS UMSU Inc may exclude or request amendments to any advertising taking place at sampling stalls. Cancellations must be in writing to e.bicos@union.unimelb.edu.au within three days of booking confirmation. 15% payment is required upon cancellation and will be charged at the full rate if received less than two weeks prior to the promotion date. UMSU Inc will not be responsible or accept liability for loss due to the failure of a promoter to use the sampling stall where the directions of UMSU Inc have not been met. Marquees During O Week promoters are supplied a 3x3m marquee. If you require a double space or wish to use your own marquee, please inform clearly on the booking sheet. Clients marquees must comply with OHaS standards and have weights. Prices increase for double space bookings. Changes to the Promotion All details for promotional stalls must be finalised four weeks prior to the promotion date. Any changes to venues,dates, etc will attract an administrative late change fee of $250. Any other fees incurred by UMSU Inc to accommodate these changes will also be passed onto the client. Employees of the Promoter A limit of five employees are permitted to work at the samples stall at any time. Additional fees will be incurred for extra employees. All employees are bound by the terms and conditions of UMSU Inc and the University of Melbourne.

5 PROMOTIONAL STALLS INFORMATION KIT Electrical Limited access to power is available only where requested at the time of booking. All electrical equipment, including power boards and leads, must display a current tag of inspection compliance (must be tested and tagged by a qualified electrician to AS/NZS3760:2001). Where leads cross pedestrian areas they must be run over head or taped to the floor so they are not a trip hazard. Food Please observe food handling regulations. Use gloves when preparing and serving food. Food must be stored in food grade quality containers and at appropriate temperatures. Incident/ Accident reports Please report all injuries, incidents, accidents and near misses to security. Security will fill out an incident report form. Exits All exits must be left clear. Do not obstruct doorways or passage ways. Emergency evacuation Please familiarise yourself with the buildings emergency evacuation procedure. The beep beep siren indicates standby for evacuation. The whoop whoop siren indicates immediate evacuation. First Aid Union House operates a first aid attendant roster during business hours. Please contact the Information Desk on the ground floor if you require first aid. Security staff can attend to first aid needs. Signage You are to put up banners, flags and signage within your marquee space. Do not fix signs, posters, flags, etc, to the walls or other fixtures either inside or outside the building. Banners are to be within allocated space and not in walkways. Parking Parking is not available on campus during O-Week.
