2 Small Business Development Prerequisite: Students with an expressed interest in business are encouraged to take this class. Course Description: Small Business Development/Developing a Business is a course designed to provide students with an understanding of the role of entrepreneurs in our economy and to help them develop their own business plan in order start and operate a teen-based business. Students will start and operate teen-based business, create a computerized business plan, develop organizational skills necessary to run a business, and learn the value of self-discipline, time-management skills, and financial skills needed to operate a business successfully.
