We also conduct regular product training sessions and events. Our product specialists work closely with resellers to develop solutions that assist with the sales process. Every reseller is also appointed a dedicated account manager to ensure accountability, excellent response times and a personal interaction with our clients. Stock is managed from a centralised warehouse in Cape Town and thousands of shipments are distributed efficiently and cost effectively to our resellers thought Southern Africa. Directors Craig Nowitz (Managing Director) Was one of the pioneers in the IT industry and started his own distribution company in Through acquisitions and mergers he was part of the creation of the largest IT distribution company in Africa in the late 90 s. Craig joined the Pinnacle group in 2002 and was instrumental, as the then CEO, in turning Pinnacle Micro into the behemoth it is today. Craig left the corporate world to continue his passion for finding and growing new brands and revolutionary products by investing into Syntech in 2011 and has not looked back. Shirley Martyn Shirley is one of the founders of Syntech, a role model for women in business and a true entrepreneur. She has built several businesses over the past 30 years and was previously involved in supplying the clothing industry with raw materials. Shirley has a wealth of knowledge and proven success with the intricacies of importing and exporting. She is the Financial Director for Syntech. Rudi Thietz Rudi entered the IT Industry in 1994 as a technician for PCE. He co-founded the Pinnacle Micro Cape Town office. Rudi spent 12 years with Pinnacle Holdings and was promoted to Procurement Director for the group. He has built strong relationships with vendors across the world, has a keen eye for product and a clear understanding for what the market demands. Rudi oversees the Procurement and Logistics departments and ensures that Syntech effectively caters for our customer needs with the latest products and ample stock levels. Ryan Martyn Ryan studied a BCOMM in Information Systems at UCT and co-founded Syntech with Shirley while he was studying. He went on to build the business focused on delivering value added products and solutions to niche markets. Ryan is regarded as an expert on storage and data workflows for the film and media industry and works closely with resellers to develop and implement solutions into this market. He was elected as President of the Cape Town chapter of Entrepreneurs Organisation in Ryan is responsible for Sales and Marketing in company. b.
