Set the goal-for the Unit and each Scout! Have a thought out communication plan! Obtain funds from one fundraiser! Then enjoy the activities planned and HAVE FUN

12 Set The Goal: Aim High! Set goals for your unit and for each Scout! Scouts who set goals sell twice as much as Scouts who do not set a goal.same is true for units.! Goals should be based on your budget to fund the Ideal Year of Scouting with one fundraiser! Scouts should their own way

13 Ways to Sell Storefront (Show-n-Sell) Door-to-Door Online Sales

14 Storefront Show N Sell sales Ask store manager for permission several weeks in advance. *Start scheduling these now! Many locations will require a Certificate of Insurance that will require a form submitted to Council at least 2 weeks prior to the event.* Assign Scouts (2-3) and parents in two hour blocks. Create and display banners signs. The best signs are the ones made by Scouts to show what they do for the community and to highlight their program. We ll talk more in depth about how to do Show N Sells in July!

15 How To Sell $650 In A Week By following these steps you can easily earn the funds needed for your Scou`ng programs in one week! Monday Start by selling to Mom and Dad. Make sure they are purchasing your favorite item as well! Friday Have your Mom and/or Dad take an order form to work with them. Have them ask their coworkers to support ScouDng Tuesday/Wednesday Use your order form and sell to your neighbors. Remember to always sell with an adult Saturday/Sunday ParDcipate with other Scouts at your Unit s scheduled Show-n-Sell locadon. Work with your leaders to see which Dme is best for you and your family Thursday Call your family members and ask it they d like to support your ScouDng adventures by buying some delicious Trail s End Popcorn Sell on-line Create your own personalized fundraising page at trailsend.com and send out s to friends and family members that live far away.

16 Unit Kickoff Party The single most important thing is ENTHUSIASM! If it s not you, then find that person to lead! Dress up the room, pop popcorn, play games, offer door prizes, etc. Have games for Scouts to play the minute they walk in the door. Role play a sale either at a storefront or at the neighbor s door. Families should walk out excited, informed, and ready to sell.

24 Prize sample sign-outs The sample prize kit is available to sign out for your unit kickoff! The prize kit sign outs are on a first come first serve basis. To request a date please contact your District Executive. All prizes must be returned on time and in good condition. Unit is liable for any damaged or missing items.

25 Seller s Club The Sellers Club Every Scout who sells $650 or more of popcorn can become a member of the Sellers Club. Every member of the Sellers Club receives one Dcket for each of several local spordng events as available. In addidon, drawings of 4 prizes will be held through the sale, for all Sellers Club members. MulDple entries are encouraged. Scouts receive one entry into the drawing for each $650 sold. If a scouts name is not picked their entry will stay in for the remainder of the drawings. To join the Sellers Club, Unit Kernel will or drop off an entry form for all unit entries to the District Kernel or ExecuDve. Entry Form is appendix 1.

26 Galactic Bash The 140 top selling Scouts that sell $1,000 or more will receive Dckets for themselves and a parent/ guardian to azend the GalacDc Bash to be held at DesDny USA on January 5th-6th, At the GalacDc Bash you will spend the night at WonderWorks discovering the mysteries of the universe. Then, in the morning you ll grab some breakfast and head over to the movies where you ll have the opportunity to win some out-of-this-world prizes before you and your friends enjoy our private screening of the NEW Star Wars movie: The Last Jedi. Only the top 140 selling scouts will be invited to azend.

27 Sellers Club Form It is VERY important that the Sellers Club forms are turned in on time, completely, and legibly! All Sellers Club, Top Seller, and Galactic Bash rewards are based on the information reported in the Sellers Club entry form.

35 Show N Sell Kit If your unit is new to popcorn and wants to give it a try then this may be the program for you. Units that have not sold popcorn in a while are invited to pardcipate in the Show N Sell Kit program. Here s how it works: Schedule a pick up Dme with your District ExecuDve for Thursdays or Fridays during the popcorn sale to pick up your kit. Contact places such as gas stadons, Walmart, grocery stores, and drug stores to get permission to set up your show n sell. Or plan a door to door blitz with your unit. Pick up and sign out your kit at your scheduled Dme. You will receive a predetermined set of product based on available inventory. Schedule a return Dme with your DE for a Monday or Tuesday. Go sell for the weekend! On your scheduled return day drop off the excess product and sezle up your account. Walk away with 32% commission for your unit! 47 Return Policy October 27th-31st: At the Longhouse Council Service Center or Watertown Office, please return any unsold products in their original cases to assist in processing. ParDal cases will be accepted. Keep any items needed to fill your Take Order then return the rest! *Chocolate products will not be accepted for returns.* No damaged or open product will be accepted for returns. Please schedule a Dme for returning your unsold popcorn. See FAQ for informadon about factory defect product. **EACH INDIVIDUAL ITEM WILL BE INSPECTED** Longhouse Council reserves the right to refuse product with such damage. If you would like to return excess product or pick up addidonal product you may do so at any Dme prior to the return dates but no returns will be accepted aler October 31. Returns of 30% or more in value of Show N Sell product ordered will result in a 1% commission penalty.
